I am imagining (without evidence) that there are groups of people who trawl the Internet for promo codes and when they find them post the lot on secret closed forums, where others quickly just use them up without much regard to what they are getting. I think it wouldn't be hard to write a script to automatically enter codes and download apps without any user input. Maybe this is all too conspiratorial. Has anyone written scripts to identify temporarily free apps and just automatically grab them all before the price goes back up? You can always delete them later. It seems like some properties of how the App Store works are rather unstable.
Didn't realize this was iPad only. Ashame, I was interested in it. Any plans for an iPhone/Touch version?
