Yes. Not only will it increase their radius, it will also increase your Archers radius for every upgrade applied. Same applies to bow damage.
Does anyone know what is the weakness of the "counselor" boss enemes? It's the thing that looks like a vampire wizard with a staff. I'm on heroic difficulty in Earthmaw with Melwen, and I've tried pretty much every available unit, none of them is able to kill them in time. 2 appear at the same time, and they continuously spam blizzard (which I think is their only attack) that kills all your units in 1-2 hits, not even a level 5 dwarf with maxed attack and defense can survive more than 2 blizzards. With 2 level 5 lizardmen guilds, which is all I can afford before they come, I'm able to kill 1, but since these enemies also have health generation, I'm unable to kill the second one. With level 5 dwarf, level 5 cavalier, level 5 archmage/wizard, level 5 sniper, they can't even defeat 1 of them. Oh and Melwen does no damage to them, some kind of magic immunity I suppose. These enemies are stronger than the hero. >.>

These guys are a giant pain. The way I was able to beat them, at least in heroic, was to Spoiler build a high level cavalier and use the highest level Ward trinket you can find to cast Ward on them right before attacking (as the counselor will cast blizzard pretty much immediately). Using Slayer(elite infantry attack) or Tiger (elite infantry health) items also helps . That being said, I'm still having trouble getting past Earthmaw in Legend using this tactic. I'm guessing my Melwen isn't a high enough level.
This is true for before v1.1. Since v1.1, the White Wizards are only available after all other elite champions have been unlocked. We are making space for another champion to appear after all heroes reach rep 1.
JJay, max skill points are increased after you reach Legend (rep 6). The medal only gives you bonus skill points (like those that you get when your hero gains level).
you can deal with that level with basically only lizards and good enough fire wand equipped and few squire guilds to stop red creatures. that map is actually quite easy. you dont even need the highest level of bowmen commander skill. what really sucks is stonebreak where melvens aiming is broken in some configurations. also of course the razortooth which is just too hard for legend difficulty even with good items.
How are you supposed to defeat Golems as Lowell? She doesn't have any easy access to Fire Damage, and you'll barely have enough for more than one High Wizard. Especially in one map where Golems spawn as soon as Wave 3-4...
Can an iPad 3 handle it? I only have 8 apps installed on my new iPad, and not ONCE has DC2 saved state when sleeping or switching apps.

I've tried all kinds of combinations, including building all lizards at the start and I still can't kill both counsellors on legend. Unfortunately, my bowman commander is only at 10 right now and at 4 sp a pop, it's slow going to get it higher. Got any other tips?
eev, is your hero radius covers the entrance to a door/cave? Melwen may prioritize enemies that are near a door/cave because those enemies will get healed when they are in.
I think there needs to be a way to acquire basic order and chaos magic items for Melwyn if you haven't unlocked the corresponding medal. I seemed to have leveled up to fast and must have sold any order magic items I had because now, all items I get or can buy are advanced requirements. I focused on chaos, and now I cannot find a basic order spell to level the skill. Edit: I didn't realize archmages blizzard counted for order. Problem solved.
Gimka, might we see an option to remove the cinematic pan and zoom upon entering each level (or have it disabled after the first visit to that level)? When grinding, it would be nice to get down to populating our little 2D worlds as quickly as possible in each level.
well the radius is about 460 so yes it covers a lot, but i dont think it's about enemies getting healed because i do not place guilds at the top part of the map. actually it depends on the configuration at the bottom place somehow. with some guilds sometimes she starts to target enemies there. this stonebreak is so hard for melven even with all stats upgraded. if she would target enemies when they are stopped by lizards it would be better but lizards reduce armor so it's not working. btw the new map is designed to use spells? because it looks like it's impossible to stop that boss raider with only melven and guilds.
