How hard is defend your castle on the battery? I'd like to know, because I am going on a trip tomorrow and need an addictive game to play for a while.
    Thanks

It was a joke because the question wasn't phrased correctly

but to answer the question, it eats up battery life pretty quickly

    I do.

Back on topic, DYC is pretty hard on battery. It is a great game nontheless.

Not really that complicated of a joke.

    It's no easier/harder plugged in.

Anyways, lower the brightness, that works pretty universally for any game.

We actually tried to be a bit conscious of this when building the game, but there's not a lot of information out there for developers on the subject.

Defend Your Castle is an OpenGL ES application so it does make pretty good use of the GPU. It should be comparable to other OpenGL ES applications, but I think this is something we might be able to improve on in future updates.

Although, my wrist / fingers tend to give out before my battery does. :D
