    We've just released 1.31

    - Reduced memory usage
    - Minor optimisations
    - UI improvements / Overlap Fixes

    Users with lower end devices should get better performance and low memory related crashes should be fixed.

    We have just released version 1.40.39 on Android which includes cloud save support and some other minor fixes.

    We have temporarily disabled cloud save on android in order to fix an underlying issue that can cause crashes on some devices.

    If you were experiencing crashes then please update to the latest version which should be live very soon.

    A vlogger, by the name of App Unwrapper, created a walkthrough video. I first heard about 2112TD from this video, and it was interesting enough that I've downloaded it. It really is a challenging game.

    We are excited to announce the release of our second major content update (1.5) for 2112TD.

    The update is packed with tons of features and the changes requested by players, including bonus maps, new research upgrades, cloud save and more. It is free to anybody who already owns the game, just update to the latest version to get stuck in.

    CONTENT UPDATE HIGHLIGHTS
    • The Campaign Continues…
      The Carrier forces have been defeated and left in disarray after the destruction of their overlords. UEDI forces must be rallied and a forward base established on the Moon in order to re-establish communications with Earth. The catastrophic effects of the invasion must be determined so that a counter offensive can be initiated.
    • Unlock New Research
      UERI scientists have been working tirelessly to get the upper hand on the invaders. Turrets can now be pushed to their limit with the new “fine tune” research upgrade. Communications logistics can be upgraded further to gain control of support units quicker.
    • Cloud Save (iOS Only, Android Coming Soon)
      Cloud save support has been added for iOS so you can now save your progress across multiple devices. Android support will be coming in a future update.
    • Balancing Improvements
    • Many balancing features and changes have been added to improve difficulty across all game modes, especially during the early game. New bonus XP awards, better tech point progression, faster tower construction and much more!
    • Tutorial Overhaul
      The initial tutorial has been streamlined with the option to now skip for TD veterans who want to get stuck in straight away. New tool tips have been added throughout the campaign to help players get acquainted with their defences and foes.

    Hello Everyone,

    We have been busy updating 2112TD to a new version of Unity and preparing localisations.

    While this won’t be the most glamorous release to date it will bring some major performance improvements, especially those playing on lower end devices. The Unity upgrade will also pave the way for additional improvements going forward.

    Preparations are currently underway to bring 2112TD to new regions and the following languages will soon be supported:

    American English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish, Russian and Simplified Chinese

    We have a beta period planned for this update where players will be able to get early access and play the new version before the public release. If your native language is listed above and you would like to experience the translations before the public release then get in touch - [email protected]

    To sign up all you’ll need to provide is a contact email, your native language, the name of your device and operating system version.

    Update 1.60.61 (Android), 1.60.46 (Apple) and 1.60.50 (Amazon) will soon be live and available to download.

    The update provides support for new languages and includes performance improvements, fixes and balancing adjustments.

    LOCALISATIONS

    Add support for 9 new languages:

    UNITY ENGINE UPGRADE (2018 to 2020)

    • Texture optimisations

    • Reduce game size
    CHANGES

    • Gatling gun volume lowered

    • Monster death volumes tweaked

    • Waves can now be called even earlier

    • Lightning and railgun turrets base attack speed slightly increased

    • Elite spawnling HP slightly reduced

    • Slightly reduced time between monsters spawning during Asteroid first wave

    • Other minor balancing changes

    • Improved shadow for the airstrike bomber
    FIXES

    • Survival report not displaying top score

    • tower build / upgrade text appearing off screen

    • double airstrike sometimes attacks same location if triggered in quick succession

    • Bomber sometimes flies backwards

    • Tower range displays correctly

    • Command centre upgrades not appearing during missions after researching

    • Health bars are faded on the corners (iOS only)

    • Activating airstrike quickly doesn't always minimise support ability menu

    • Goliath sometimes attacks fortification walls that are lowered

    We've just released a small update on Android (1.60.64).

    Fixes
    • Monster pathing would sometimes break causing enemies to circle or freeze animation
    • Other minor fixes
    This update also contains some small balancing tweaks.

    We will soon be releasing an update for 2112TD on Android (1.60.68) and iOS (1.60.49).

    NEW

    - Cloud save support (Android Only)

    CHANGES

    - Balancing improvements
    - Call wave early balancing providing more player control of difficulty and pace
    - Reduced HUD size
    - Gatling gun range slightly increased
    - Reduced gatling gun firing audio volume

    FIXES

    - Fortification wall would sometimes not correctly raise and get stuck
    - Display correct reduced tower upgrade cost
    - Fix HUD health display (Mandarin Chinese Only)
    - Fix rare issue where charged fortification wall / charged attack could not be deployed
    - "Massive unknown organic signal" audio triggers correctly for all boss enemies
    - Killing the mega fleshwing did not trigger all other enemies to terminate
    - Other minor fixes and optimisations

    Flesh spawn forces still linger and must be eradicated if communication is to be re-established with the outer colonies.

    BALANCING (MISSIONS)
    • Mega Fleshwing boss now approaches the command centre from the rear so nearby towers can better target it
    • Starting credits on Neptune Prison increased from 480 to 500 (Normal mode)
    • Starting credits on Uranus increased from 530 to 540 (Normal mode)
    • Starting credits on Carrier departure increased from 645 to 665 (Normal mode)
    • Starting credits on Asteroid Mining increased from 1020 to 1035 (Nightmare mode)
    BALANCING (TURRETS)
    • Gatling gun base / charged attack damage increased slightly against all armor types
    • Uranium artillery base / charged attack increased a slightly against weak / tough armor
    • Napalm charged attack pool duration extended from 8 to 12 seconds
    • Machine gun rocket pods now fire an additional 2 rocket volleys when the charged attack is activated

    • The tactical drone now unlocks automatically at experience level 5 without the need for tech points
