Haha! Have you noticed the game actually features the boat from Scuba Dive? We managed to get into contact with the original programmer and ask permission With regards to the savestate stuff you should never lose progress in terms of coins, missions, loot or discoveries but each dive is random so you would lose that particular world generation. There's some pretty complicated stuff going on to build the world on-the-fly so when the app is swapped out of memory on lower spec devices it does sometimes reload the game. Hopefully this isn't too much of an issue. We ultimately decided it was worth the trade-off for allowing people with older devices to play the game.
Okay...this game is very unhealthy. I can't stop playing! I even find myself thinking about it while I'm working, talking to my girlfriend etc. you guys at Monster and Monster sure know how to ruin a guys day, I can't even play my other paid games of the past few weeks because I'm wrapped up in my deepsuit mining this damn loot! Thanks for the reply. I muted the game so that was fine. But the screen? I have a case that is more comfortable holding it flipped. Also a cord I use is on the other side. Please do look into it!
Going off my sig you can guess I normally totally avoid any and ALL free/freemium games but I am a HUGE fan of Scuba Dive on the good old Speccy and this ^^ alone is a reason for me to actually download it.
Cheers! In answer to the question every dive generates on-the-fly procedural content from a combination of hand crafted areas & algorithmic tile creation. This means you can explore in any direction* whilst your air lasts without waiting for world creation *Obviously if you swim too high you'll reach the top of the ocean but hopefully you get what I mean
Rest assured we're looking into this. For now the best way of dealing with it is to close the app and then start it again (with your device how you want it for playing). When the game boots up it should be the correct way up to how you're holding the device Hope that helps.

It's certainly something we're looking into. We never realised just how many people out there enjoy playing games like this across multiple devices. Hopefully it will be something we can introduce in a future update as it does seem like a handy thing to try and add!
I'm enjoying the game but have 1 gripe I've made before with many GC leaderboard enabled games. Just because you include GC leaderboards is no excuse NOT to show me my best loot and dive depth there on the end of game screen. I appreciate how you inform me if I've just beat my personal best, but to see my top scores in these 2 fields is several clicks away. Why not just, in smallish print under the two stats of my current run, show me my current top results in those 2 fields? IMHO, looking at the GC leaderboards is just something you do to see where you place globally or with friends, not the only place to see your own top scores.
Thanks for the message. Your suggestion is actually something we already have planned for the next update! It was actually the original function of the little stat box at the bottom of the result screen. We wanted to get it into the launch build but we simply ran out of time Hopefully we'll have something sorted that satisfies your needs soon(ish)
You know I really hate to say this, I really don't want to.. So through gritted teeth I'll quietly mumble.. This game is awesome! ..okay, now I need to go hang my head in shame.. Oh and get the 100 pearls for the Scuba Dive ship.
