It's really not, there's nothing that you can't earn or unlock without iaps. It's just for more coins which you earn easily and quickly with regular game play.Right from the start you'll earn a lot from chests and stuff so that if you purchased the coin doubler from the very start you'll really stack up major coins fast. I waited for two day before getting the doubler just to see what I could do on my own and I was earning a lot anyway, I mostly got it as a thank you to the devs for an excellent game. If Mines of Mars is even close to this them I'll be getting that next. Even better if you don't like the game I'll refund everyone the $0.00 they paid for the game
This is like Mines of Mars in the exploration sense, and the block breaking parts. However, the similarities end there. Both are fantastic games. If you think Mines of Mars' rate of progress is decent, then you will love Deep Loot + Doubler IAP. The thing about Deep Loot is that tis quite grindy compared to Mines of Mars without the doubler. The doubler changes that though, so each game is pretty much a premium then.
I can't wait, the day is finally here! My only worry is that I'm not staying up to grab it as soon as the App Store updates. You'd better not pull this on me again! Happy Playing everyone!
I didn't know it was free with the option to buy a doubler! I think that's a fair mechanic and if I like a game after playing I'll buy it to support the game. Purchased Micromon and 80 Days and stuck at work so can't download either. This is downloading now and have a break in 10 minutes so I can play it too!
So I just got to play for 20 minutes on my break and it's great! I don't usually like these types of games but something here has me always thinking "one more go" it's more than likely the loot and all the upgrades along with the collections ect Already purchased the doubler to support the dev as the game was free.
It won't flip the screen and doesn't follow the phones mute settings. Maybe not such a biggie but frustrating when you open it!
This game delivers! Love the graphics, and the music.. Oh my, the music is superb! Memories of playing on my C64 come flooding back.. Game has frozen a few times on me though, but that just means I get to start again.
Anyone else having trouble playing this on the mini 2? For me after the first play, I get a pale blue screen, music and nothing else. I've tried closing all apps and rebooting but same issue. I also purchased the coin doubler but upon a restart had to restore it again. Not very good so far... The game is unplayable and I've spent £2.99! Update: just deleted and reinstalled and now the game won't even start. Just get "Loading" which disappears followed by a black screen and then... Nothing...
Hi New England Gamer! Strange that the mute settings aren't working correctly. We'll look into this and try to solve the problem for the next build. We're also looking into the screen flip feature for a future update but unfortunately it's not quite ready right now. Hopefully neither issue causes too much of a problem for you. Note: There is an in-game mute button that should work for now whilst we look into the issue
I get confused with the 'other' Gavin Harrison quite a lot, to the point where I get fan mail and people asking me for tickets. I am a musician, but my drumming is terrible!
For anyone who is enjoying the music, the full soundtrack can be found here: https://gavinharrisonsounds.bandcamp.com/album/deep-loot-original-soundtrack
