I haven't seen a droid yet, but I did just get the mission to destroy 5 in one dive. But I thought that the enemies only moved when you performed an action by tapping the screen. Are the droids always moving or do they just move out of range after each shot?
I didn't have trouble with the mission to discover three special locations either. I was swimming horizontally, like what was mentioned by others.
After I get my 100,000 upgrade for my air tank I plan on using a Turbo Boost and just swimming right. I haven't been down to that depth very much, so there should be plenty to discover.
Great Game I love this game. It is an excellent addition to my iPad Gaming Library. And yes, it is highly addictive. As you can tell by them posting here, the Developers want this game to succeed. So do the players [fans]. In addition to the great suggestions in this post, I have two others: 1. Get players names incorporated into the game. 2. Have regular updates. If you can have a schedule of planned updates along with estimated dates as to when these updates will be released, this will ensure your game thrives for years to come. Disco Zoo is a great example of this. When many games fail is that after one or two updates, the developers stop adding to the game, and so, people stop playing. 3. Movie Tie-In. As you know, the Expendables 3 is coming out this month. Why not have as one of the items to collect some waterpoof trading cards that spoof the names of old-time actors. For example, Sylvester Stallone = Sylvester "Rocky" Old Bones. Arnold Schwarzenegger = Grandpa Conan. Mel Gibson = Crazy Lethal Weapon Mel. You get the idea. Just my two cents, frisbee10461
What I thought was droids wasn't really them. I see droids now. What are the little round green robots that speed away so fast. I usually get some cash for tapping them.
Ah yes, the survey bots or something like that - I think I've only encountered two or three of them. I tapped them once and they flee after leaving a bonus. I had no idea they could tapped multiple times though, will definitely check that out, cheers! As Dreadnok mentions, those other evil robots are a nightmare...when you get really deep down and there are three on your tail. You're just desperately applying boosts and making a final stand of running for your life only to find some more baying for blood. Metroids are no easy for either, neither are sharks, I love how such a casual, relaxing game can become so brutal! I'm sure the update made pufferfish more aggressive, I though they only inflated on attack before, that keeps catching me offguard. It's one of those weird games that I'm actually grateful that not much is explained. Normally it would be frustrating missing an in-depth tutorial but it's a nice return to retro gaming where you had to get "good" to go far. Not sure if I've said it yet but I love this game!
Yeah, it seems that pufferfish and crabs are always aggressive and jellyfish are always passive but hurt you if you touch them. I still can't figure out what makes some fish aggressive while others leave you alone. I can't tell which fish are aggressive until AFTER they attack me.
Yeah, I thought I had it pegged - the crabs will always go for you when in range, the metroids and creepy-faced robots will hunt you down eternally. The more angular starter fish (not the angelfish) tend to chase you 50% of the time, most often the blue ones for me. Sharks are obviously aggressive whilst jellyfish "attack" only on contact as you say. I could have sworn the anglerfish were neutral but they've be going after me pretty regularly whilst the eel-type fish tend to only attack 25% of the time. Basically, it seems like there's only one species you can trust though I'd love to know the tricks to what aggravates each one - I'd assume proximity mostly but I've also seen some try to flee when you attack another so there must be more going on.
The pufferfish and mines can help you too. There was a puffer next to a shark and I shot the puffer and it damaged the shark. Same with mines, they will open chests for you too. Use them to your advantage, just stand back though.
That is actually one of the tips the game gives you between dives. In fact, here are all of the game tips: Spoiler 1 . Watch out for crabs, They're more trouble than you'd think! 2 . Most creatures won't attack unless you shoot them first 3 . Locked chests always contain better loot 4 . Best to stay in the shallows until you have a better drill 5 . You get a bigger dive bonus the deeper you manage to get 6 . If you tap and hold while diving you get a tool tip 7 . If you don't move, neither will any of the creatures 8 . If you end a dive early you won't get a dive bonus 9 . Check your pause screen regularly to see your current missions 10 . There's better treasure deep down but creatures are tougher! 11 . Some fish run away if you shoot them whilst others will attack back 12 . Air boosts are a great way to make a lot more coins in a dive 13 . Some collections are only available at certain depths 14 . Completing collections will give you bonus items 15 . Some fish will attack as a shoal if you try to start a fight 16 . You can use puffer fish to attack other creatures and open chests 17 . Locked chests are guaranteed to contain at least one collectable 18 . Sharks are tough but they can be defeated 19 . The deepest depth is full of very aggressive creatures 20 . Tapping loot uses air, but swimming into it doesn't 21 . The contents of a locked chest are always worth more than a key 22 . Bonus coins for defeating creatures are awarded at the end of a dive 23 . Upgrade your equipment to earn even more coins in a dive 24 . You can get emergency supplies during a dive if you pause the game 25 . From time-to-time you will find supplies in chests 26 . You can unlock special suits and ships by exploring 27 . If you're finding deeper depths difficult you might need an upgrade 28 . I record everything you do but not in a creepy way! Check the profile screen 29 . Don't forget to check your collection screen from time-to-time 30 . Use super boosts to get to the deeper depths more quickly 31 . You might want to upgrade before starting to use super boosts 32 . Funnily enough I'm terrified of water; I just love treasure! 33 . Ah, smell that ocean air. Nothing quite like it - absolutley ghastly! 34 . Use turbo boosts to reach the deepest depths instantly 35 . Stick to the shallows if you're hunting for pearls
So I just watched Sanuku's video again and I noticed that there is one extra suit in his video. Why was the Thomas suit removed?
