Thank you for the detailed report! I think we're slowly managing to focus down on why this is happening so will hopefully be something we can sort for the next update. In mean-time if this happens just pause and end dive things should sort themselves out when you dive again. Also great to hear you were enjoying it with your kid too...hope it doesn't mean you find your device going 'walkabouts' too often
The freeze might have something to do with the defensive ability, I had an issue where I'm wearing the Ultrabot suit Ghostship Once game froze after staying in one spot for a minute Once I had half my air and fired into a rock only to suddenly lose all the air I've gotten the freeze many times but I can usually start moving again after about 45 seconds if I tap to move one spot over Still searching for Achilles shield to unlock him, has anyone done it yet?
I did that on a really early dive and now I've got the achievement to do, does anyone know if the refinary will just appear again?? Also I'm finding the 'easy' mission to find 3 special sites in one dive ridiculously hard because I found so many in the early game that I just don't seem to come across them anymore.....
Cheers for the details. I suspect though that it's something else going on in the background with the turn manager getting stuck in a loop or taking too long to catch up with itself. Hopefully we can sort it out for the next update although might take a couple of updates to nail all of the ways this might still happen. Refinaries will appear again if you explore the right depth...as much as a hint as I'll give there As for the locations it should count if you find locations again on a different dive but as it's random every time we can't promise you'll always find stuff!? As someone suggested earlier try swimming left or right for a dive. That can sometimes get results. Hope this helps!
Thanks for that, I thought the refinary might do that and I have been looking for it on the same level! I'm definitely not getting those count to the Achievement if I find them on a different dive tho unfortunately.
I am having the same problem with the "Discover 3 special locations in a single dive" mission. It has been stuck in my mission queue since I got it. Unfortunately it isn't just "visit" 3 special locations, but rather "discover" so it only counts the very first time that you find a location. I am fearing that the longer I play, the harder this "easy" mission will become, as there will be fewer and fewer new locations to discover. I am really surprised that there is no ability to pay to skip a mission in this game. Since discovering locations is completely random I doubt there is any advice or strategy that you could give me, but I am seriously getting desperate with this one. Kind of wondering if I should just delete my data and start over and hope to get it early.
Hmmm. I'll get the coder to have a look at that mission when he gets a chance. If there's a few people having troubles with it then maybe something has gone amiss as re-discovers 'should' count. We also considered a skip mission system but we just ran out of time to implement it. Might be something we reconsider for a big update a bit further down the line though!

I have 249 discovered locations so unless you've passed that amount there's a lot more out there for you. Trust me going all the way left or right works well enough Spoiler [/IMG]

This game is great, I have completed 91 dives, gone about 450' deep. Bought the red robo suit, upgraded a ton all without spending money. I am going to have to buy something just to support this Dev and game. If you have not picked it up then do it now!
yep, like a few above I've having trouble with the discover 3 special locations. I'll get it but the harder ones at the moment are easier than this. Great game though. Even my son's on it now.
Just out of curiosity does anyone use a suit OTHER than the ULTRABOT, or is that just hands down the best suit in the game? Because just going by TOTAL overall stat adjustments ULTRABOT gives a +52%. The second highest is HOLY HABIT with a total of +48%. After that there is a huge drop with the 3rd highest only being +26% from either PRO YELLOW or BOILERPLATE. At the opposite end of the spectrum, the absolute worst you could do is SEA THIEF wit a total of -12%, followed closely by ART MONSTER & CODE MONSTER which each have a total of -10%. Also, ULTRABOT has the best AIR bonus of any suit in the game, which seems to be the most important stat. Even UTRABOT's ATT and DEF still sit in the top 10. So I have to ask, is anyone who can afford it NOT using ULTRABOT?
Lol indeed! I actually just purchased that suit yesterday I had been using Mr Nibbles and Meganoid till now but I saw it was an acheivement on GC to purchase a suit so I got it
