I'm not able to start the game up. The word "loading..." appears, and then the screen just goes black. I'm on an iphone 5s. Edit: I figured it out. I didn't have enough free space on my iphone for it to load. After deleting some apps, it works fine.
Yes. Actually I was just about to post this before I read your comment, I love the game so far, but also find the inability to auto-rotate, and the mute bug a little annoying, however not game breakers. Although, I feel the controls could be a little tighter in optimization. There's a slight degree of lag between input and action, might be intentional so I am not sure but it's definitely there. This is quite obvious in the collections menu, scrolling across collections isn't exactly buttery smooth, it should slide and bounce at each end, but instead scrolling sticks. I realize this is probably happening because as you move to each selection the narration below is trying to punch in and load the dialogue window below it, so there's a struggle between the user scrolling across collection sets, and the game trying to register on when the user is stopping so it can load the appropriate window. Frames are jarring however in-between collection sets, its not a pleasant experience which stinks as collections are probably what most people will want to look at when they are not diving.
I am still totally in love with and addicted to this game, but I've encountered a glitch related to the locking up at a deep location issue. I encountered that lock up, and had to reload the game, but when I restarted it, it showed one of the collections as having a new item that I had found on that dive, but the item wasn't in my collection. I've found it again twice since, but it still doesn't show up in the crate. Is this fixable in a future update or do I need to restart the game? Apologies if this has already been answered, I read through the thread but didn't see it. Thank you!
Thanks for flagging this. We'll look into it. If it's what we suspect it is then you actually 'do' have that item it's just not being flagged as visible in the collection screen. Can you tell us which item or collection this is for? Also which version of the game do you currently have installed v1.3 or v1.4?
I dont know if anyone noticed, but the system is pretty much like a rogue game similar to Chocobo Dungeon. It is turn based, but each turn moves to the next with each tap you make. If you dont do anything, none of the enemies move at all, and you dont lose any air. So the unresponsiveness may be because other fish around you are still taking their turns. Once i became aware of this, everything didnt feel sluggish at all anymore. There was also a type of pokemon game i believe which followed this same rogue formula, but for got which titles were like this. Zettai Hero Project i think is one. I forgot the other rogue titles i have played which had this same system. EDIT: Did a little googling, and it was Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
Ah, THANK YOU EP!!! =oP After reading this (and the other posts regarding controls, thank you, guys!), and then going back and playing, it makes a lot more sense now. Thanks again... Now I can see why there's so much praise for this already... =oD
Quick bug report, the game froze as I attacked this jellyfish and opened the chest at the same time. Animations were still continuing, and I was able to still tap my chest loot, but I can't move my character so I had to end my dive.
Try closeting the app by double clicking home button then swiping the up to completely close it then it reloads correctly
Ack! Sorry about that. Sounds like something we've already spotted and are looking into fixing though. If it happens again try using the pause button in the top right and pressing the 'end dive' button to trigger the results screen. Next dive should be back to normal Also worth noting we save your coins and loot discoveries as you find them so you should never lose anything except your dive complete bonus.
What am I missing here? Everyone loving it but I'm not seeing it. I do not want to be negative here, just want to see if there is something I'm not doing. You click, drill, then go up when out of air. Are there places I should be looking for? Other things I should be doing?
Same premise with Ridiculous Fishing, you drop your line, sink as far as you can then shoot fish - not really on a ground breaking level as Skyrim, but was it fun? Yes. Is this fun? Yes. In my opinion, it hits a high point because of a couple of things - presentation, although it might borrow elements from other games it comes off as remarkably unique, and accessibility for the platform its on. If its a game on my phone I want it to be able to be something I can burst through in short intervals with a relatively growing skill curve, and something I can share with people without having to resort to sending them a users guide just to dive into the game. I can easily share this game with friends, my grandpa, my fiancé, and my 5 year old nephew, which in my book is a major plus.
^LOL.. The water is the only thing similar to Ridiculous Fishing. This game is more of a roguelike, but the exploration involves digging, it is turn-based, and instead of having HP you have air, and getting hit by enemies will use up air since there is no HP (kinda like adrenaline requiring heavier breathing ), and that running out of air is similar to respawning in roguelites. The Air also acts as "hunger" in old-school roguelikes where movement from collecting to moving to mining to shooting all take up air to do. And the tons of stuff you see around that you pick up and collect, reminiscent of roguelike's Loot.
Sorry same premise as in accessible quick gameplay, not same gameplay. I'll edit it if that bothers you that much. Read my entire response please past the first line.
To the respectful devs. Is it legal if i transfer the save files from my ipad to my iphone? If yes can you tell me where the save files are? I really love to play on both devices till you release icloud support!!! If it is not legal it is ok no worries!!
