Has anyone been able to do this? Location: Icy Caves Activating Secret: Defeat the boss in less than 100 seconds without the use of Shrines and taking no Damage. Reward: Extra Gold - approximately 250g total + save Old Man's daughter I've tried several times and find it impossible to do it in less than 120 seconds.
I've done it. You gotta use Witch with the x2.75 attack bonus and Hynx's Staff so you can one-shot most of the monsters. Does anyone know if the devs are gonna patch the issue where a full skill tree makes the "unlock a new skill for..." missions impossible? Or what's the secret to the final level?
Hey guys any tips for the Zakkum Tree boss? Do I just spam the block button and hope I kill it before it finishes depleting my HP?
Problemas with Sad Village Hi! I'm having problems with the boss from the Sad Village. Any tips? Thanks
Zakkum Tree boss- you do reduced damage to him except when he's readying an attack, so spam block at all other times. Getting hit by his vines is almost unavoidable so get some health to tank it and a good item, like Azathoth's sword from the Sad Village boss Sad Village boss- you can usually just attack through his explosions. When his little song plays, block it to avoid being confused. Immediately after the song, he'll start powering up an enormous attack that you MUST interrupt with an attack of your own. If you failed to block the song, you can still interrupt his ultra attack, but your controls will be reversed just like the Poison Witch debuff. both bosses become radically easier if you use a scroll or potion of unholy power right before you activate the Apprehension Shrine before the boss. You'll go into the fight with huge offense and full health.
So this just updated to premium. What happens to those of us who purchased the upgrade to unlock everything before?
Seems like it isn't showing up in the app store search, but you can find it via Google: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/deep-dungeons-of-doom/id595359155?mt=8 I always thought this game looked kind of interesting, but the "free-to-play" design was a big turn-off. Just threw $5 at this new version with all the in-app-purchases removed.
Search for the devs... open the only game that shows (Thomas Was Alone) and then hit the link in that app for Developer Apps and it'll show there. I skipped this before as it's freemium and had paywalls and stuff... but as a pure premium game with the IAP fully stripped out (which is really interesting to see as it lists like it's never even had IAP) I may just have to throw my $5 down. I think this is a case where the IAP folks may feel a bit cheated, but the game has been rebalanced completely according to the listing to be completely playable start to finish without worrying about paywalls.
So why isn't this on the Canadian store? I recently bought it for my MacBook on Steam but always wondered why it wasn't on the Canadian App Store. The Mac version luckily doesn't have any of the in app purchases which is a huge plus for me as I hate them.
You still probably have the same game experience you've been enjoying since you bought it. Maybe even better since previous F2P elements have been rebalanced and IAPs removed.
Devs, if you're here, my game shows this on the menu screen. "Development Version...Do Not Distribute"
I would also like to know this, I have not updated the game yet because of this. Can anyone who already updated post their impressions on this premium edition? Thanks in advance guys!
I never bought those extraneous support the dev style IAP that the kids have been screaming and crying about on this thread so beyond the actual update description available to all of us, I don't really know what would have changed. The only relevant difference I can think of is that someone who downloaded the game for free before and never unlocked the game now owns it. On my end, it's just a matter of my original unlocking of the game no longer being a relevant distinction from having just downloaded it.
I wonder how sales have been since the switch over. I'm just about to release a free iap version of my game and I'm pretty excited to see how not only sales go but player reach as well. I feel like most people pass over games that are not free.
