I'm soooo glad about the low installed size (MB 59). After deleting lots of stuff, my temporarly replacement iphone 5 has only MB 228 left to work with, omg. Looking forward to play this beauty on my short trip abroad.
My initial thought was to wait for the full price to support this outstanding one-man-show even more, but how can one wait longer to get those greedy hands on such a perfect shmup (stated through all earlier post).

Not sure you should say that seeing as you're in the credits for DU2. :p

Ha... I'm in the credits for a few games... none of which really clicked with people here on TA (minus DU2), unfortunately.

But just the fact that two (three if you count the first .Decluster) non-Cave games have held my own top 2 favorite bullet hell spots is a pretty huge thing (for me anyway). I guess it doesn't really matter what places they snag as long as they're my top 3. They're all games that every fan of the genre should experience.

But as for the credits - Sunny was kind enough to put all the beta testers names in the credits. =oP

I bought the .Decluster duo because I liked Cave's games, but I didn't like the lack of optimization in the best of games, and the monetization schemes in the worst of them. These games seem like allround supportworthy titles.

    .decluster!!

Congratulations on the 5-star front page review and pending GOTW triumph. I rarely refer to something as "owning" but this game owns more than a Monopoly winner.

    Masayuki,

Congratulations on the 5 star review. You deserve it. Your abstract artwork and bullet hell gameplay is phenomenal! I'm a fanboy and I freely admit it. Thank you for such a fun time!

The original .Decluster was a great example of a manic shooter done right. It had perfectly balanced gameplay and great controls. On top of that, and unusually for the genre, it successfully managed to cater to players of differing abilities.

It comes as no surprise that .Decluster Zero is equally polished and controls equally well. More than that, though, the new additions take the gameplay to a whole new level, letting players further refine their skills with different challenges and new scoring opportunities.

Anyone with any interest in shmups should have .Decluster Zero in their collection alongside the original. You will find yourself deep in the zone as you dance your ship through Masayuki Ito's beautifully choreographed bullet hell.

I can't believe this is still ONLY THE FIRST PAGE of the thread!!! Crazy....

Anyway... I just hit 1E on Normal... I haven't reached the end yet... But I think Ima start working on unlocking Hard. I... Can not get enough of this.
And I still have highscore runs to try. =oP

It's incredible that the original became this in such a short time with a 1 man 'team'. Nothing but the utmost respect, Mr. Masayuki Ito. =oD
