After playing few hours, i can say this game is really good. However a lot of grinding is needed, so it can be frustrating for many people... So far i'm in 'secondaria land' and i have fun creating my deck ^^
i'm not quite there yet (hunting harpys at the moment), but i was wondering what your deck looked like when you took on the giant worms? played this til 5am this morning... woke up, pooped and played on the toilet. addictive for sure.
its sooooooooooooo interesting But i have some Imp questions !!!! 1- how many cards in the game?? 2- How many levels?? 3- is there a free mode when we finish the campaign?? 4- what about replayability?? and how much hours is the game ?? or there is as i said i free mode or so??
Ok took the plunge. It's quite decent, nothing special (I'm still on the 1st level tho). Bit of a grindfest but enjoyable. Gonna playa bit more later to see how it goes forward.
I'm in thirdonia so far. But when i was hunting Giant Worms i had 11 firewall, 2 meditate and 2 buckler if i remember well... @ Rivozz : There are 50 different cards
The game, yes I am enjoying it but. Escape! what is the use? I bet also the bar girl is being paid by the word. Please can she stop describing goblins after times? Card is the balance that is fun!
Escape is for when you're getting your ass kicked and you're about to die in the next attack, you escape.
yeah dude, when you escape you live to fight another day. when you die, well that's it, unless you believe in heaven/reincarnation or some other nonsense. gameplay wise, i don't know.. i haven't died yet. i escape.
Fill your deck with about 10 Maditation and 10 Firewalls. 95% of the time you fight a giant worm the cards will appear in the right amounts so you can win. Use one then the other.. repeat. I beat all the giant worms on the map this way as quick as possible. I just spoke with the king and now I'm going after the harpies. This game does get repetitious because of the grinding/fighting the same enemies too often, but its addictive enough to keep playing.
Mine was something like 8-10 firewalls, 4 pass (for the HP), and the rest broadswords. The easiest deck would be something like 12 firewalls, 8 pass, but you want to save some of you gold to get a jump start on cards in Secondaria because the cards there make the ones from Firsta obsolete. For example, Firewall is 5 HP, 40 dmg, but there's a 10 HP, 60 dmg spell.
Still in Thirdonia so far, i'm grinding a bit to get a lot of money. Just an advice : Try to buy few mana burn cards (100 gold), 20hp for 100 dam is really good in thirdonia. Another advice : Speak with the land's king as soon as you can ^^
I'm not sure if this is true for the other countries, but in the second area, I needed 10 kills before the king would talk to me.
In thirdonia you had to kill a seiren to meet the king. And i've just found out an awesome combo : Spoiler Play Heavy boomerang (100 dam after 3 turn delay), then Power attack (Next attack damage * 3) and a physical attack. Thanks to this combo, your boomerang AND your physical attack get the bonus of Power attack ^^ Edit : My god, forthia is really harder than thirdonia ^^' Edit : Last boss defeated, it was quite fun. Even if it was a bit repetitive...
I'm still in Thirdonia grinding for the past 2 days. I find this strategy necessary for later more difficult levels.
Forthia is harder because it requires a different approach on monsters, especially giants. Its not hard to figure it out so I wont spoil the fun
It's so cool, I bought it today and have palyed half of the day but never feel tired. I join Touch Arcade today , just want to say " you make a good game, thanks!" The only problem I meet is the background music is too loud even I set the volume one.
