Yeah, I don't even bother w/ the bonus stage, LOL. I just go straight to the castle. I know when you get 4 matching items, you get a bonus to all your stats. I needed the Angel Shoes to complete my set, and I found them in the castle.... Then I died and then lost the item. I never pick B1 either as my final stage. That stage is so ridiculous as the 5th stage w/ all the bullets coming from the spiders. You mean the suicide bullet item?
are you guys finding better items on higher difficulty? I've only gotten golden rings from playing hard mode and the angel shoes that I lost. it wouldn't be so bad if you could save up and buy stuff from the shop, but ultimately, the items in the shop right now suck. I'm probably going to buy an IAP since the game was $3 off. Unless these items can be obtained normally through the game?
Yes, I got some cool ones from Hard. But most of my current equipments are all from lower difficulties, LOL. Don't even bother with shop. It exists to help us get the all item achievements Regarding IAP, I really hope Cave won't force player to pay something that can't be obtained by playing, as it is related to one of the achievement. If so, then it sounds like paying for getting an achievement, which is yuck !
sigh, same here. it'd be nice to get some better umbrellas and armor. wouldn't be so bad if you could grind to get nice items via shop. but grinding is just to get dropped items on the off chance it might not be an S ring. so are you just buying continues then? is there an item list anywhere on the net?
Yeah, and items just for completing my item list. My equipments are all from treasures box. There seems to be no help on the net yet regarding item list. I supposed Coldcoffee is going to include it in his guide. We may contribute as well to complete the list. Btw, really looking forward to the update which makes the "Preview" button works. Can't wait to see the visual of the items, or perhaps, a picture with Tiara wearing it ?
The preview button is for the unique items which are the 4 Angels wands Ex. Wand of Justice - Wield Follet's firepower and the preview button just shows you what your shot and laser would look like Currently I am at 42% item completion with: 10 Weapons 13 Crowns 14 Dresses 11 Shoes 38 Jewels 86 Total with everything that's currently available for purchase at the store bought Fairy Equipment is fairly decent for clearing Normal You also get an overall stat bonus for equiping items of the same 'name' or that go together like the Blue Lantern and Pumpkin Mask Best items I have so far... Blue Lantern and Wand of Justice Pumpkin Mask and NIght Cap Labyrncia Dress and Queen's Dress (increases treasure drop rate by 50%, but i still dont see an increase in drops) White Shoes and Fairy Shoes Crystal Skull (all stats increased by 90) Satan Doll (all stats increased by 50 and Gold drop rate increases by x4) And that is a lot of gold, enough gold to stay in power up mode constantly
IAPs all tend to be unfair if they're for performance based stuff. Seems like purely cosmetic stuff is the only way around it. I haven't gotten any items yet so I'm wondering about the existing stuff, do they change the look of the character at all or is it just stuff on the stats screen?
Both versions crash upon start-up. I have a 3gs running 4.1 FW.......i've cleared out all the other apps running in the background to ensure i'm starting it with enough memory, but it STILL crashes every time! I'm able to play all the other Cave games, but this one just won't run! Anyone else with crashing issues on a 3gs? If so, what FW are you running?
Hey jmbaker, just curious which difficulty did you play on to get your "best" items? I play a mix of normal & hard iphone mode. In hard, I always get item from bosses (mostly the "S" rings though...). For hard, if I don't have 2 continues to reach the end of a stage, I don't even bother. Hate getting to the end, then dying on the boss and losing any items I find on the stage. On normal difficulty, I mostly get 5000 gold drops from bosses. Did you try seeing if after closing all background apps, to do a full restart? Or reinstall the game (close all background apps, restart, install game, restart, then relaunching game)? If those doesn't work..you can fire off an email to Cave. I have ipod touch 4th gen, 4.3.3 FW. No crashes for me.
I've killed all my other apps running in the background to ensure I had enough memory; I've tried powering off & on; I've tried resetting my iPhone; I've even deleted the app and reinstalled but the game STILL is crashing! All the other games from CAVE run perfectly on this phone, but this game just won't cooperate! I've done everything just short of restoring and updating to a diff FW. I'd really like to avoid having to restore & update my FW b/c I REALLY don't feel like going through the whole re-jailbreaking process again. I've emailed Cave so hopefully they have some sort of solution that doesn't involve a complete restore. Thanks
Yikes.. Unless Cave put something in the code to detect jailbreaks? Otherwise, there's just something to do with the jailbreak... I'm guessing then the lite version won't work too?
I'm playing this game on a jailbroken iPad 1 using RetinaPad, no problems crashing for me, probably not the jailbrake causing the issues on the iTouch..
I would recommend you try deleting the app, kill all other apps, reboot the phone (power off completely and back on) and then try reloading it again from a new download (that is, don't reinstall the same downloaded version again and make sure you're reinstalling it from the App Store again). Exactly, if it was a jailbreak thing then i would expect the lite version to work....but it doesn't. Sux too, because this game looks great

got some good items to increase the laser power up to 425 from 250, now hard mode is overall ok, but still it takes a lot of time to deal with bosses.

all good items which improve the power are from grinding on normal mode, on hard mode all loot is only useless s rings. and these are not unique items.
