pff with rocketcat you know you should jump in day one. with the guarantee of all the updates its not even a question. this isnt some dev who dont know if and what content to upgrade. I bought WS day one for 4eu and by the latest updates i bought the soundtrack just to spend something extra on all the content!
I agree with your opinion regarding how developers should base their pricing on value instead of how many copies they can sell at a low price point; however, everything in my life revolves around a budget, so I'm always looking for the cheapest games in the appstore; but again, in this case, value wins. I can easily spend $$ on this game because I'm so pumped up for it.
I am anxious to see wha perks and traits Rocketcat is going to bring in the next update they teased. I want more options to customize the jerks... er, my friends. From those who haven't already read, here are the future plans for the next 6 months (probably going to take a little longer, since BRAISNTEM is late: https://steamcommunity.com/games/deathroad/announcements/detail/495794557579942671 "BRAINSTEM Update: Around the time of the iOS launch. Late February or so. New multiple-game progression system, where you find Trait Points and unlock new Perks and Traits with them. Trading cards and emotes! Some extra tweaks and requests from feedback. COCCYX Update: Around 4 months after BRAINSTEM, so likely in late June or into July. Splitscreen and co-op improvements! Big focus on new content! This will be us concentrating on adding more content to the game, rather than brand new systems. Road events, special characters, weird new weapons, new rare traders, all sorts of things. DEUODENUM Update: This goes beyond the next 6 month period! Likely our last big update, though we'll still do smaller updates after this. We will get player feedback on what should be in this one later. It will probably be a choice between new content, or attempting (attempting!) to put in online co-op. We may put this to a vote."
I'm so excited for this, seems like forever since this game was announced and I'm so happy to finally see a concrete plan of the games future. RocketCat is amazing, easily one of my favorite Indie devs on iOS.... really don't understand why people are complaining about this games price point, yet I don't see anyone getting their knickers in a twist over $99.99 iaps for in game currency.... DOUBLE STANDARD YO
Here hoping as well. I am a silent reader for years giving feedback on games mostly on Twitter and Facebook. I don't remember any mobile game that had my full attention like DrtC. Two weeks ago i couldn't wait any longer and bought the game on Steam. But since then I only made a few games just to have a fresh experience on iPad.
Same here. But the difference is that I've bought in release. Lol When the wait is too much to bear I give a run or two then wait some more.
Ugh the anticipation is killing me, BoI runs are draining me of my stamina (eff Satan) so I keep checking my PM inbox incase I've heard any news.... LITERALLY am playing nothing else right now because I'm silently hoping (nay, praying) that it will spontaneously appear on my iPhone..... It's like waiting to hear back from my high school prom date.... hopefully it doesn't turn out the same way (never heard back #dead)
I feel the same. Even have stopped Wayward Souls to prepare for this one. I was approached some times for beta testing, but never could make the time. This time, though, I am really anxious to try the game on my phone and help make a better experience giving feedback to them. If I got picked, this is going to be my second time on Testflight (the first one being an app of test questions regarding to law). And I am gladly going to give feedback in the future updates, since I plan to play DRTC for a long long time.
Same here. I'm super hyped about this one. Like Dankrio I took part in not that many betas (two to be exact) but in these games I did my best to communicate all things related to these games.
Guys if you're chosen you'll get a TestFlight email, did you honestly think the developer has time to pm each of you?
wow, 8 bucks is really expensive when converted to my country currency, and base on your history of pricing, the price is just gonna go up and never will be down, so when i'm gonna have the chance to purchase your game T_T you know i've wait almost 2 years just to buy FTL, when they goes on sale to be precise.
and total BS, if it takes that long to afford a $10 game how on gods green earth did you afford your iDevice. No makey sensy.
well, i'm in indonesian appstore, $8 means 119thousand rupiah in my country, it's pretty expensive, while my monthly salary at $200, and i've a family to feed T_T
