Likely this month, if there's no massive problems that come up in the bigger testing. We've already been testing it in the meantime, and it has looked pretty good. Testing news: We're doing an adjustment to the Testflight build. After it processes, going to start the Toucharcade testing. Will also start getting people into the Discord. Oh, and in case it wasn't clear: We're also going to use this Testflight to check our updates, even after the game is submitted. We plan on having a lot of updates. It's likely that Death Road will use the Wayward Souls model: cheaper on launch, then the price goes up a dollar with every major update.
You have no idea how much I am looking forward to it. Really, you don't. Can't wait for the release! Good to hear that. Gonna grab a few copies and gift to some friends that otherwise wouldn't buy it.
Very cool. This by far is my most anticipated game. I can honestly say it has been a long time since I truly have been looking forward for a game to launch.
Reaaaallly sorry about the 3 separate On my PMs, i forgot a couple things, then recompiled them into a more cohesive application for the test flight....
Let's! Lol I regret playing it a while Steam, since I'd rather have a brand new experience on mobile. It is impressive how much the game has improve since launch, though. And I trust Rocketcat to bring an even better experience on the enxt updates. Not that the game isn't already AWESOME as it is. It so much cool it.
I'd love to test but don't have the time.. I have the game on PC but haven't been able to dig into it.. if I'd be able to contact you directly to report bugs I'd ask for a build but creating an account on discord and streaming video is something I don't have time for.. I'm a long time member here and avid gamer so if that's enough I'd love to test.. if not it's all good, just release this as soon as possible.. I need this on my iPad!! ##
The streaming isn't meant to be a hard requirement. Just fill everything out honestly. Minimum is that you'd have to respond by email to the Testflight mails fairly swiftly. I think we're going for $8 at launch, bumped up to $9 a little bit after. Then going up a dollar every major update. Similar to Wayward Souls except it'll go up faster.
Unfortunately, I'm sure some people will say, including me, that your price is steep; but I don't give a damn when it comes to this game. I'm handing over my cash on day one.
I wonder how many great games go unmade by indie developers due to the "need" to undervalue quality games? Don't get me wrong... I do like inexpensive entertainment but at what overall cost? My worry is that unless app/game developers start figuring out better pricing models, we may start to see less and less great games released. Seriously I was happy to see the $8.99 starting price point. Congrats again on getting close to your iOS launch. I am certain I will be sinking a lot of time into this.
