I admit I'm not playing this game no matter the hype because it's totally not my type. But since the developer/designer is active in this thread, I have a question to ask: Why are lots of people seem to consider Canada as the save haven for apocalypse? Is it because we are at north? We have the most fresh water? Less population? Or simply because Canada is cool? XD
I don't want to spoil it you'd have to buy the game to find out NO ONE spoil it. Spoiler It's a combination of factors Spoiler That and it's really cold
Maybe I'm just stupid but how do you use your medical supplies? I've died several times having supplies on me but couldn't figure out how to use them.
Yes I got that pretty much immediately. I also always watch the clock and try not to get into night time as well. Still the basic of it is smashing zombies on the head, I definitely never tried to clear a level, only those that stood between me and the precious supplies. Will give this another shot tomorrow. (iPad is currently charging and getting late in my time zone, plus my kids don't grow themselves!)
Been playing this since I purchased it and love it to bits. (heh) I still don't know why people are even questioning if this game is good or overhyped. do you not know rocketcat??? wayward souls? mage gauntlet? PUNCH QUEST? even if it's not your type of game you could still buy it to support these amazing devs. now bring on Mage gauntlet 2 please.
Pretty minimal compared to most games, I think. At least in my experience. Characters use them whenever they can when on the driving screen. You need 3 per heal if your medical skill is really low. At the highest medical skills you only need 1, sometimes 0. For immediate in-mission healing, you need to find Ouchie Spray.
I think 2 players on ipad is perfect, just make it controller only option. I just bought a second nimbus for this purpose! I have all the patience, good luck and cant wait to play it! My lady friend and I just got to canada for the first time on steam, and want a more portable version to play! Thank you for a great game! EDIT: will apple tv b a separate purchase or same as ios, so the awards transfer over?
Mage Gauntlet 2: Looking into starting this up next year. We're starting work on a game that will get us back into that genre soon, after the Wayward Souls update and PC version are out. Ok, just making sure. Let me know what you think about it after playing it more, even if negative. I've tweaked the pacing a bunch since launch, mostly to make it a little faster. It's never going to be super fast paced, though I can always take a look at it again to tweak it a little more.
Proud owner of a Death Road to Canada Application.. Hopefully I can find time between work and school to play this bad boy.. was delighted with the download size ## Viva Canada eh ##
Awesome, my day: Set alarm for 4 am, bough game, and went back to sleep. Dragged through work all day without playing. Sneaks off to bathroom stall with 30% battery to test it out. Predicts first run with character modeled after wife gets me killed. Cast of LetterKenny run will succeed.
I'm completely offended by the price. I've been gaming since the '80s and most of the time I've had to spend $50 / $60 dollars for a quality game. Pricing a game at $7.99 seems criminally low. Even considering it now digital media with no resale value I think $20 would be a completely fair price.
You need to hold the right side of the screen first to start the car. Then again to drive away. Hope that helps.
It is the exact same game. If you prefer PC get on Steam, if not, grab it on mobile. Some have problems with the touch controls, some don't. But the same could be said to PC. Also, they are bringing mfI on the next update. Again, it looks and play exactly like the Steam version (unless you have trouble with touch controls) on older and newer devices alike.
