go to the settings and set the deadzone to 0 and dragzone to 99 and see how you like it you can mess around with it while you adjust it too so you will be able to feel how the changes worked there is control settings
Prices and stuff Regarding prices, and like I have always said, it's is a personal matter, what is "really WORTH it" for some people and a "steal at $99,99", could be too much for some people and not even worth it at $0,99. I think people nowadays are just too judgemental. Like I said for BoI, I will not buy the game at 15 euros because for me it is not worth it. I might go for it when it drops to 5 euros, but even then... As to this one, I decided to take the plunge and I am quite satisfied. I think the controls are a bit sluggish and the game is hard (in a stupid, "didn't see that coming haha" way), but I also think it is incredible, very deep and very addictive. Hoping the updates really get the game rolling some more (more fluid controls, icloud support I think is always a must). I've only played it twice yet but I am loving it and will stay installed for quite some time.
What a great game. Would love it even more with an option for difficulty. I find this game too hard. 14 games without even getting near to canada.
Just bought this!! Can't wait to try and make my own anime like characters. Goes into the folder with WS and mate gauntlet
Lol what?! 53.1 mb. That's like half the capacity of the original zip disc. It makes me feel warm inside to see what looks like a game with a large footprint actually have a very small file size
Seriously....Rocketcat has never disappointed and always lives up to the hype. WS, Hookchamp series, PunchQuest....All classics and permanent on my phone. This game is just the latest example of the attention to detail and their love of just making good games.
Can we just move on from the pricing discussion and just all enjoy this amazing little gem ? I liked Mage Gauntlet... but thought it was a bit lacking gameplay-wise. Then came Wayward Souls, that I consider a mobile masterpiece, truly a gem in the rough. I was a bit worried about how they could confortably move from the "secret of mana" style gameplay... turns out i shouldnt have worried at all. Rocketcat games deliver, they are an amazing team, deliver quality after quality, in the indie environment such consistance is rare. You guys get all my respect, and ill make sure I stay around for your next amazing entertainment release !
Honestly I don't recommend jumping other game mods before you succesfully see Canada once. You might be doing something wrong. Do you close doors in order to avoid huge swarm? Do you choose what your group needs to in certain areas (pause menu->fighting/defending/running)? For what reason you keep dying lack of resources, sieges or events?
Sure! Though the text events are a lot more in-depth. Also replace the ship fights with running around cities and other locations, looting buildings, and getting chased by 200+ zombies. There's some but less RNG than it seems. There's different systems to even out your luck. Also in events, it checks your stats and only the middle values for stats/skills are rolls. If you have very high or very low stats, most events will have you succeed/fail every time for the associated checks. It's more than that, though there's some autoaim and the combat is a lot different. Slower paced by intent. Thanks! We need to do save-in-mission support at some point... that's probably going to be a pretty big feature though. I want to focus on content for awhile. Most of our updates so far have been heavy on new features, so it swallows up that dev time. It's the VORTEX event. That's a fun one. You can get extra good results from it if you have someone with high wits. Like Dankrio said, Rare Characters and Familiar Faces game modes are a little easier than the default. With Rare Characters you're pretty much hoping to luck out and get the good ones. This also makes the ones that show up in camps very common. With Familiar Faces, you get custom characters all the time, so you can try to minmax their stats. It helps to unlock their higher perk levels. You can also do things like start with a combat capable one, and have the reserve ones you'll find be a mix of combat ones and supportive characters.
Not sure how much is Rocketcat or Madgarden, either way, an absolute classic, like all the games both have put out.
Much love to Kepa and Madgarden for crafting and fine tuning this gem. It is such a fun game, and it will forever rank as one of my favorite games of all time on ANY device, PC, console, etch-a-sketch, what have you. This game is pure gold, and any nay-sayers need to bow down and recognize! # For serious though, buy this game, then buy a few more for your other iOS device wielding cronies! They will love you for it! It can even be used as a pickup tool for all you lonely dinks out there! Just gift this to whoever your heart desires, and they will be so impressed with your distinguished taste in satirical zombie apocalypse-themed survival games that they will have no choice but to fall for you! So just scurry your little butts over to the App Store, and get this amazing piece of iOS history. You will not be disappointed, nor will your newly acquired love.❤️#
What I love about this game is how unpredictable each run is. I was having trouble with too many guys on my crew. Supply was low and the group fell apart, with some betrayals. A few minutes lates my main char (that has a hero head transplant) got into a portal and now is super strong. I have maxed physical stats and a sledgehammer and have a lot of supplies now. Edit: I just found a familiar face that is calm under fire and sent him on a creepy store. Even more food.
So far, I dunno. I'm not sharing the same love. It feels awfully repetitive, regardless of the randomness, what I keep doing is hitting zombies over the head until they die. Over and over and over again. Can't say I'm compelled to continue at this point. I will try again due to all the accolades this game received here and on Steam.
