Had plenty of food (50+) on the last stop before the Canada, but got the camp glitch with zombies and couldn't buy anything there. Even so, I managed to beat the Familiar mode. Lunk was a great help but he died a few seconds before the harder siege ended. So, he never saw Canada and that broke my heart. He is always going to be remembered, since I could never get into Canada without his invaluable help. Rest in peace, my friend. Now time for Rare Characters mode.
Wrote up a five star review for the app store. For a while I had three vicious little lapdogs in an ice cream van driving to Canada. The last one died trying to make it through a factory with a chainsaw but sadly ran out of gas/ petrol. Ive never tried holding off zombies in a store for a night until dawn, but I thought Id read that they didnt respawn? Killed over 120 zombies, from memory. It was actually quite nailbiting as I empathised with the dogs lol Broke out at dawn when the store was seeing sunlight again. Very late dawn but it was raining. And then, after all that effort, the man gets eaten by the gazillion zombies in the streets. If they dont respawn they must have reproduced by bloody fission. Couldnt see the street for zombies.
Hey guys, dunno if somebody has already asked it, but what about battery drain? I recently bought crashlands and it hilariously fast uses up all battery (talking about iphone 7 here). Playing wayward souls doesn't seem to take much and I believe they share the same engine
No issues here. The usage is very nice. The devs are going to look at cross-platform save. Let's hope they succeed. Edit: L*nk day really helped. I am not going to finish this Rare character run only if I am really unluck (or lack the skills at some point). I am 5 days from Canada and Got Lank, Clown, Valkyrie and a char (with max "trait stats", max medicine, mechanic and high shooting and fitness). Got around 40 food and morale is high. Let's see how it goes. Edit 2: Damn, just lost Valkyrie because I forgot to set to "run" after the siege. The team lost so much power. Edit 3: Got to a packed grocery store and got 58 food there.
Madgarden and Rocketcat? Wowsers! While I don't have time to play for the foreseeable future, I am purchasing it now to show my support. I am also hoping there's MFi support planned in the future, hopefully enough people have requested it, not really sure how popular MFi still is in 2017.
Got a Bardiche, Shotgun shells and the Cat Lady on the last stop to Canada. This must be fun, even if I die. Lol Edit: Did it! Beat Rare mode with Lunk and Jacly (the high stats lady). Unfortunatelly, just before the City of Crushed Hopes, Lunk decided to spin his sword and damage his fellow survivors. But that's okay, since he did most of the heavy work. The Clown almost made out alive, but got surrounded and payed the ultimate price. Damn, I am going miss this creep one. Now time to Short Trip to Heck!
I have a pretty good run going on now. Not too far from Canada. I'm a bit afraid to pick it up again because of DEATH.

I'm in a similar boat. 5 days from Canada and my next mission is a siege with a "massive" horde of zombies. I'm scared. Lol
Beat The Long Winding Road with Lunk and El Satain and two regulars no major weapons or bombs just pure sweet carnage, oh and a chainsaw with 20 gas Lost the Fairy Queen in a sewer she got surrounded and munched so I tossed a grenade and granted her mercy . Better dead than lunch Next up Deadlier mode get Swole or die trying!
I sense I am going to have trouble with the shorter mode. With luck, I might find a sweet pack of useful stuff and try my luck. On my last run, I did a crazy try to go into the Museum all alone (3 days from Canada). Grab a Medieval Axe, but got surrounded just before I could exit the place. Was fun, to try, though! lol
And to pack yourself properly. By the way, I laugh loud with the Ultimate Sports Fan. Lol For the sake of god, if this game get plenty of rare characters, locations and events added on the planned updates I might be playing it forever. Damn, I might be playing forever as it is.
You were right. Just beat it. Ultimate Sports Fan is OP. Lol Almost did the 4 characters achievment, but my dog didn't resist, so I got 3 new citizens into Canada.
Is the Ultimate Sports Fan really that strong? I actually didn't get too much time to play that character.
