i just gifted this to a friend. this is definitely one of my favorite games of all time now. just need co op and it's perfect
4 star rating from me. Why only 4 stars? Two reasons: 1. Needs more content - like, as much as the devs collective brains can muster up. This is the kind of game that lives or dies on its ability to remain fresh, exciting and engaging. The more variation they can throw at it (narratively and in terms of weapons, items, perks etc.), the better. Simply put, there can never be enough. Every addition will increase that chance of randomisation and will keep you ever pushing forward in search of the next little surprise. And... 2. Kind of as above but basically put - if you give top marks first time, then there's never any need for improvement. Think of it as an incentive - impress me enough with extra content and I'll give you the elusive extra star! There's an offer you can't refuse......hopefully! #
Android will happen, though Noodlecake has been pretty busy lately so it may take 2 months or more. I need to check if HORSE can use the chainsaw actually... I think the chainsaw just counts as neither weapon type right now, so anyone with a weapon restriction can't use it. Couple weeks from now. Please don't put your weird diapers self-fanfic in this thread. These are good tips, though I think most people have been dying in the indoor siege before the city. Nintendo doesn't want us D: Please buy 5 more copies of the game. Also, iOS version will likely get co-op like the PC version has. I kind of want to get the splitscreen revamp in first, or at least MFi. We added more content just now! We'll keep adding a little at a time, and for around July we plan on doing a giant content patch. A lot of our time so far has mostly gone to new feature requests, I'd like to switch over to content primarily. Just need to get through some last promised features, like splitscreen and the perk/trait revamp.
Good job guys, i think i'm going to play it more now, changed the review to 4 stars because Kepa is one of the most responsive devs i have ever seen and this game is nice I would pay for updates/DLC if this means the game will be improved.
I just had the best early game food run. I got like 50 cans. Didn't even realize until now that u can take food from the shelves. So many zombies that they forced me to ride along the shelves instead of running down the middle of the isle which is how I found out even a question mark popped up. As u can see I haven't gotten to far along Death Road. But my guy got bit once and then two quest options later my leader died # damn raiders. I read in someone's post that u gotta memorize the outcomes because they're the same every time. It's that true? That seems to be mostly the case for me so far. Or is there a chance something else might happen? I realize there are stat based outcomes like picking an option that requires mechanic skill, but maybe something like picking a magazine that doesn't up your skill or (sry, farts come to mind) when someone let's one rip and u gotta blame someone heh heh is there such thing as a different outcome? Like blaming someone and we all pass out from the smell and drive off a cliff or maybe something not as extreme as that?
Good tips here's more Switch between Guns and weapons save the guns for when you're boxed in a corner shot your way out then back to other weapons. I do enter houses to get more ammo or explosives but make sure to switch your team from shooting to either otherwise they might shot and cause an explosion If you do this and keeping moving you will survive with ammo to spare for the Canadian border
A lot of the outcomes can change depending on the composition of your group. There's lots of hidden stuff or extra options. For many outcomes, you'll get the same results if you have the exact same group, if they had really high or really low stats for that choice. Middle-stats for a choice can lead to a random chance. The main takeaway of this is that if you do an event choice that relies on, say, shooting skill, you'll generally always succeed if your shooting is really high.
Sorry if I am about to sound like the devil's advocate but here I go : The more 5 stars rating they get, the more visibility they receive. More visibility = more sales More sales = Better chance of getting the extra content you want.
4 stars is a honest and fair review. Definitely want good sales but padding reviews only dilutes the reviewer credibility.
So far, my favorite experiences have involved the dogs. Is there a way to make them as custom characters?
Actually his reply was directly in response to the other guy implying that he would not give out 5 stars to new apps because it would incite the developer to not try harder or add more content. So I think your response would be more aptly aimed at the other person.
Hello, bought the game yesterday and have been loving it! However, the controls are really awkward for me. I would prefer it if there was a static joystick instead of "the whole left side is the joystick", because I have to restart my finger position way too much while playing, get's very annoying. Other than that, I think it's awesome!
This has been requested a lot. We want to add this but first I think we'd need to revamp the character creation screen a little. Try going into controls and setting the drag zone to 99, and maybe setting the deadzone to different settings (try 0 for deadzone). Let me know if that's closer to what you want.
I think you should be able to change the skin colors to whacky colors like green and blue and all those!! I wanna make Bowser
If you read somewhere around PAGE 45 (There's 48 pages of ppl loving this game as of this writing. That alone is an indicator of the game), you'll see that they've been approved early for an already early update with added content. So an update that was gonna be weeks from now is coming any day. And there are more scheduled. And then there's the devs who are here on the forum replying in bulk to questions, concerns, and comments at just about every page and a half. Or you could take a look at the reputation of these devs cause these guys are top tier. Not sure what this guy's complaint is cause I don't think he had one. And withholding Stars in order to get an I'm sure already exhausted group of devs to work harder is just about the lamest thing I can think of at the moment.
Not a bad unlock idea! The update's out right now, I hear. Since someone asked on Twitter: The price of the game isn't going up yet, despite the early update. This is only part of the update, that we got out early. The price will go up a dollar in about a couple weeks, around the time we put in MFi support.
In response to all those that lambasted me for only giving 4 stars - erm....take a chill pill?! First off, it's my take on the game and I'm entitled to rate it as I see fit for whatever reasons I deemed appropriate. Secondly, there's absolutely no problem with rating a game 4 out of 5 (that's still an 80% benchmark) if you feel it's fallen short of expectation and/or if you feel there is hidden promise and you want to encourage further development. Had I only said I was giving 4 stars because I felt it lacked content but seemed really promising, then you would have accepted it as my opinion. However, I make one light hearted comment (the wink should have given that away), which was subsequent to constructively pointing out how I feel the game could be expanded and improved and I'm told I'm lame and I shouldn't make comments like that?! Wtf. Seriously folks, get a grip - imagine what you could achieve if you all used your powers for good. /is dismayed at the fan boy responses /image of TA forums being open minded and light hearted is shattered......again.
