You summed my feelings exactly. That's what makes the game so appealing for me. I hope the devs can put lots more of rare character, events, weapons, locations, mini-quests (please, mini-quests, pretty please?), traits and perks as future content. Not that we don't have already a ton of content. But it would be throw the replayability factor off-charts. The feeling that you are starting a brand-new and unpredictable crazy adventure everytime is fantastic.The ultimate road trip is here.
I agree with that.... and to add to that what I absolutely love about the game is the ''swings'', for example : started a game with 2 chars, one made after me and one after my wife, my wife gets murdered by zombies in y'all mart while looking for supplies, loses my handgun which i had 100 bullets for, i managed to escape thanks to my rifle... then on the road i met one of my friends, right after that i got to a abandonned storage where i found a dog who i befriended, on top of finding a bunch of food and gaz... then my car breaks down... i find another car ! I love how the situation can jump from super positive to total crap to super positive again... really plays with your emotions, in a good way, so much fun !
We're thinking of doing an EARLY SURPRISE UPDATE to bring Death Road in line with the newest PC update. This will add being able to sell your weapons to a new trader type, then a bunch of new weapons and some new characters/traders. There's a lot of different types and variants, especially for melee weapons. There's mostly a lot of different types and then some variants on some types. Such as there being both a baseball bat, and then a rarer aluminum version that doesn't break. We keep adding more, too. Content update in May or so that will add a lot of the things in the above list. And then a big content update around July-August. We haven't been able to focus on pure content as much as we wanted to due to new features taking a lot of development time, but I'd like to change that for the July update. May update will content, but is also pretty feature heavy again (perk/trait unlock revamp, splitscreen multiplayer for PC, maybe one tech feature I'm forgetting right now).
Are you planning to add more character customization options? I'm starting to run out of faces / outfits to use. I think maybe allowing you to change outfit colors would be nice then you don't have to "redesign" them.
I want to love the game, but the unprecise movement and the feeling of running on ice, really puts me off....
Yeah this is likely. More hats are coming for example, and we recently added more eyewear pieces and masks. Feel free to post suggestions. I'm not sure on changing outfit colors. I don't think it would be that hard to do in itself, but the tricky part is revamping the UI to support it. The character maker UI is already "near capacity" for features it supports I think, at least as it is right now.
would really love if we could play with our friends over wifi or something my brother said he wish he could be the buddy you bring along and fight with you. probably played this for over 10+ hours now love it.
Anybody know if/when this will support cloud save? I frequently go back and forth from my iPad to my iPhone.

Looking into it but I don't think we had a definitive date set for that one. Also looking into dropbox syncing first, so it could work between all versions. Not just iOS but PC, upcoming Android.
So maybe I'm dense (probably).... But how is it that your characters "upgrade"/improve for following runs? Or are there stats always the same? I thought I read somewhere that there was some form of succession/improvement for your characters but maybe I misread/misunderstood...or it's so evident that it's clearly in front of my nose and I'm missing it Thanks in advance for any clarification
At the moment, only the perks are raised (from 1 to 3). So, every char that has this perk is going to have higher bonuses. However, the devs stated they are working on a new progression/unlocking system.
