Not at all m8. I play on everything and love mobile gaming, hence i'm here. Binding of Isac (downwell etc.) and few other games got me glued to my iphone, so no - that is not the case.

You got good insight there, but I think the randomness of the starting chars makes thinks more fun.

I have in mind a set of synergic chars that works very well together and makes things far easier, but I don't want to always try to play the same way here.

Also, the events can change everything, like when on my last run my wimpy character became max-stated.

Man, this game is so much fun.

Edit: I even made up some "rules" while playing to make things even more enjoyable. I always start with 2 Random chars (gonna change that obviously when I go for the solo achievement) and I try to roleplay the first one (the leader). If he dies, then the second one becomes the new leader. On kicking out char events there might be a "revolution", depending on the atitude of the chars on the car (I set some rules regarding that, so another one might become the "new leader", but only in this case).

On Familiar mode, I always accept the first one that shows up and he becomes the leader, then I roleplay him. Might start with only one char on this mode, but am still thinking about that. The point being the familiar becoming proeminent on the run. Might even kick out random ones if the chance arrives.

On Rare Mode it is similar to Familiar, only that the first Rare becomes the leader and I control him.

Left my review on the US App Store. Also gifted a copy to a friend. I can't ever seem to express myself in words but I did my best ;)

A one-of-a-kind game, this mashup of genres is a must have. Spent 4+ hours so far and can say it's the most engrossing experience I've had in a very long time. Af you're looking for replay value you've come to the right place. These guys didn't miss a trick. Money well spent.

Full Disclosure: Rocketcat is one of my favorite indie developers and after watching a few gameplay videos I was worried this wouldn't be "my type of game". They proved me wrong again.

Best of luck on you're new release, Rocketcat & Madgarden!

And I hope that stupid "full disclosure" thing wasn't as stupid as it is in hindsight. Lol

    Agreed.

This is the most fun ive had this year along with Binding of Isaac and RCT Classic(was late last year but only bought this year)

And so far this is being my GOTY, I think i like it even better than Wayward Souls already !

Havent reached Canada yet (in 4 hours of playtime) but i just play blindly...and im enjoying the ride a lot!

I do like this game a LOT more than Wayward Souls, which I already loved. It's hard but I don't feel like it's nearly as crazy as Wayward since it feels like that one if you fail midway you lose so much effort.

This game has two things I would love added that would make it 100% clear winner. Cloud saving which Wayward didn't have (I don't think this has it?) and then hat or accessory collecting (can be used for custom characters). I put in x10 the original time on Wayard because they added hats to collect. Would love to add some kind of collection element to make you play the game even more - rather than just trying to get toward the end.

    Good game, i guess.
Can't stand the music, though. It sounds generic in itself and annoying.
Controls aren't very clear, what's the blue arrow's purpose?
Also, when on the car, how do you choose to honk or get out? I'm playing on iPhone 6.

Wow, I feel the exact opposite and think the music is awesome and really fits the mood.

Which blue arrow are referring to? If it is the buttom it is to change weapons.

You select sliding left side touch, as if you were moving. Then confirm clicking on the right screen.

Man, this game has gotten some crazy love. Mostly from fans or followers of the developers. I'm probably one of few that didn't like the dev's other games to much other than Punch Quest, but I do trust some of the members opinions & taste when it comes to games, albeit biased at times they have introduced me to some incredible games. So I'm going to have to jump on this or seems like it's "shame on me"..:D:D

    Thank you for the answers.
Yes, i meant the button. Does it only do that?
Also, is there a way to slow down/pause the traveling text? I can barely read it.

About the music, well, i get it that they aimed for a "funny-crazy" style of game, but it's like the gazillionth time i see this approach and it's less funny every time.
It's a nice little game, i bought it cause i love Wayward Souls.
But having played it, i wouldn't buy it again.

    Yes, it only does that.

Sadly, no. It is something I would like to see implemented, since sometimes the text goes too fast.

I do want to fix up that road text somehow, or possibly have a trip log so you can go back and see what all was said. Possibly compress the "events" such as gaining food etc. into fewer lines. I agree it goes too fast.

A ''Trip log'' would actually be perfect.

Allows the intentional fast pacing to be kept when you want to quickly go from one spot to another while allowing to make sure we can get all the information we need,

As a fast reader it hasnt been much of an issue for me but it does scroll fast.

I don't see DRtC anywhere on any of the app store front pages like the featured front page, games page, or indie page. They saving it for something? Am I missing something?

    Apple being Apple, I imagine.

But we have been having too many great games and it is dificulty to keep track of it all, I guess. I would love to see it featured and see those guys having more exposure, though.

    Loot

Been stalking this thread for a bit, so if I missed this, apologies. The description says lots of random loot. Is it a lot of the same types (i.e. variations of bats or shotguns) or a lot of different types and variants? Can you switch loadouts or do characters stick with certain types? Thank you guys!

And Irealized right after posting the description listed some of them......ugh I'm slow....

It's the top featured game on the UK App Store - but it only refreshed about an hour ago, so you may have missed it in your region.
