Again, does anyone else notice you can't use camera mode 2 on any reversed tracks?

Some challenges require you to use a certain camera to make it somewhat harder. Thus you cannot change it on those.

The controls are fine for me, in fact i really love this game it would be one of my favorite iOS games if it weren't for the lack of content. I feel like i barely started the game, but i'm already over 20% done. I also think there should be more weapons and, not just 1 or 2 but like 5 a couple more paint jobs couldn't hurt too. As others have said this game needs multiplayer, it would be very fun and if done properly, would make the game have endless replay value. Maybe i'm asking too much of an iOS game but this game has allot of potential IMO.

    NO TRICK IS TOO DIRTY

This top-down racer is excellent. Let me make that clear. The level of polish that a big studio like Remedy put into an iOS title is stunning. And more importantly, it's fun.

It pains me to say this, but I agree with how IGN put it in their preview: The virtual stick seemed like an odd choice at first, but as a whipped around corners, I couldn't imagine doing it any other way.

This is certainly two parts shooter and one part racer. It's violent. It's explosive. It's fun. The point of the game is to blow s*** up. If you are a true male, you'll love every bit of its action.

The controls and the small amount of content are the only bad things this title has had so far. However, the pure fun gameplay, achievements, polish and a good progression system will keep me coming back for a long time.

This is an astounding application and I cannot believe I almost didn't buy it. I advise anyone who appreciates GREAT graphics and equally GREAT gameplay to pick this one up post haste.

Hell, I just bought a brand new 3DS and this baby has found a way to take me away from it.

Well that and the fact it's charging at the moment.:)

That was me! :D I didn't realize there was only one winner - the dev didn't really say much other than to send them my name and appstore email. So no idea if they'll use my idea or not. My idea was "Mayhem and destruction on the road!"

Looking forward to playing tonight (or tomorrow, depending on when I get my code/gift)!

  7. There was more than one winner. ;)

Ah ok - I wondered if there was. When I saw billy's question though, then I thought maybe there was only one.

So when did the game appear in the store? I've been monitoring TA all day and I never saw it appear in the New Games list.

Geez, I SUCK at this so far! The controls obviously take a lot of getting used to! Gonna keep at it because a challenge I like! Can't get any better than LAST place! Ha, Ha! I don't believe it!!

Yeah there were a few winners but Twitter only allows messaging for followers so they'll still have to sort it out. :/

I am absolutely loving this game so far! I was a bit hesitant at first, based on control complaints, but the controls clicked instantly for me -- I think they work absolutely great! I've been blazing through all of the races. I don't want the game to end, but I can't stop playing it. All I can say is that I want more of everything in this game. :) Fun stuff!

    Well, deleted.
I find there is little to it apart upgrading cars. There are better racers and better dpad shooters.

Well i think it is the best top down racer around, due to the combat being pretty fun. multiplayer is what made the early game so much fun though.
i would like some combat tweakings like ability to use 1 main weapon and mines (pressing the mine button would drop one, like in the original if i remember right)
Tweaking driving skill by allowing us to save our nitro pickups or other stuff would be nice too .
    I think controls are great.

Runs fantastic on iPad 1 btw

Yes, runs great on iPad 1. This has to be one of the best looking games on the device.

But it's so very short... it's over after 4-5 hours; less if you don't bother to upgrade everything to max like I did...

90 mins if you are not going to upgrade cars fully. Very short.

Remedy Entertainment (should you happen to be reading this thread), give us one, or several, arenas for destruction derby-style gameplay (no racing, just combat until only one car remains). That wish nearly tops my list for Death Rally updates, just below online multiplayer.

I'm kinda surprised it is not already in the game, considering that it is standard fare in this (admittedly sparsely populated) genre.
