I just unlocked the wraith, and now the game crashes every time i tap 'done' in the upgrade screen after a race. Doesn't matter what race or which car or what array of items i have equipped. I can't progress any further.
Its weird to hear all the reports of crashing when its not happening to you. I had a lot of crashing previously when going in and out of game centre. I hope the devs fix it soon. This is an awesome game.
My game keeps on crashing right after the first logo-screen. Can't play it anymore. Hope to see a fix soon, I will be playing Pocket Academy in the meantime
Two of my achievements have not been submitted to Game Center and I am unsure as what to do. A glitch, maybe? CHAMPION - Gain the fame level champion. (Which I have surpassed. My fame is above two million.) HAIL TO THE KING... - Destroy Duke Nukem (I have done this while seeing him in a race and remember seeing the achievement notification as well. However, it has not been submitted to Game Center. Another note: Duke Nukem no longer appears in races, only during the new Duke Match. I have killed him there and beat his final score and was awarded no achievement.)
Anyone knows any trick to kill the Adversary? I could beat him easily...just that I never get enough time to knock him out before the race ends. I am using fully upgraded Striker weapon + Sight equipped!!
I like the updates this game is getting it just keeps getting better and better, new stuff keeps me coming back to play some more.
Exactly, I've tried other combination as well, but no luck..! At least you got 2/10 to beat him. I've tried so many times....
Wait... does sight actually do damage? I thought it was just used to help you aim, in which case it's not necessary with the striker?
You can get the award by killing Duke Nukem in the arena. I killed him there the other day and just checked, I do have the award for that. Maybe try again. Were you online at the time? Perhaps it just didn't register somehow.
Another chronic crasher here. Death Rally quits to springboard at the title screen, after a few stuttering sounds are heard. Running iOS 4.3.3 on an iPhone 4.
I just wish I knew where to look in the iOS filesystem to backup my savefile. Each app folder is labeled by one of those damn random letter & number combination. If anyone could clue me in as to the correct folder for Death Rally, I'd be sincerely grateful.
Use iFile (available in Cydia) to access the file system, and turn on "Application Names" in iFile's settings (accessed via the icon in the lower left-hand corner). This replaces all those durned numbers with the proper names An alternative is using DataDeposit (available from Cydia as well), by telling the app to backup your Death Rally savegames.
Sight doesn't do any damage, I used it to assist the secondary weapon (machine gun?) to get more damage.... but still no luck though? Anyone know the best weapon combination to kill the adversary then? thanks!
I managed to kill the adversary tonight, although I have no idea how, pretty sure it was a bug, blasted him with missile twice and that destroyed him. Tried to repeat that but couldn't. What I'm wondering is, should there be a cut scene after destroying him? Because I got both of the achievements, killing him and winning the race, but I thought there was a cut scene or something after that?
