It doesn't show in the updates but if you re-install (purchase--free) it you'll get the last version. New car took only 3 races to fully upgrade :/
BTW my fame points are around 45 Million and i still havent got the "The 42" achievement. I was expecting to get it at 42 mil. Does it really need a higher fame?
I just downloaded the game, the Interceptor is harder to unlock but seems to have worse stats than the Deliverator. Interceptor Speed 6 Handling 4 Armor 3 Deliverator Speed 6 Handling 5 Armor 4 You can do the math.
Awesome update again. Had just started getting a bit bored of repeating levels, but now I got a few more hours of game play.
TotallyImba: The cars have more stats than what is shown. For example the Interceptor has a very low mass (which makes it that much better). PS. Anyone who has had crashes with Update 4 could you please test Update 5 and see if it works now. Cornfox programming wizards made quite big improvements to the code so it should work better.
Somebody on Facebook posted that the new movie in the update was "offensive" and to please make it kid friendly and I was thinking, that's laughable. And, I'm sure I'll get slammed for this, but then I watched it and, well, the guy has a point. I'm no prude, and it's not that bad, but I don't really see what that sequence adds to the game either. Supposed to make it a bit "edgier"? I don't know, but that just doesn't seem to fit this game, or at least it seems completely unnecessary. It certainly doesn't add to my enjoyment of the game. It's not a deal killer or anything, just something I thought worth mentioning.
I saw the comic sequence. It prompts you to get the adversary. I already got him... Do I have to kill him again? Does the story actually react to adversary being killed or does it just develop separately from the actual game?
I had already killed the adversary when I saw that comic. Then I killed him again, and saw no reaction from the game. So this comic may have sence if you are new to the game and playing the career from the very beginning. It is also interesting when exactly this comic appears in the game, if you start playing it from the beginning.
I just got this game and have been having a blast with it, but I'm a little confused. There doesn't seem to be any levels or story (after the prologue) or anything like that. Do I just pick one of the random races that come up and play them until I have unlocked and leveled up everything?
I used to play the original version of this when I was younger, co-op with my brother. I heard it has multiplayer, how does it work?
No multiplayer yet. It was said long ago that multiplayer would come in a later update, but no word if they meant online or local.
