Beat the adversary I found thr Adversary to be too easy to beat, here are my strategies since I already beat him multiple times. If you want to win by blowing him up, I suggest that you equip your car with the sniper rifle (9/9) and iron sight, since this will increase your accuracy and the sniper rifles does tremendous damage and slows your opponent down. This is the most powerful weapon in game IMO, followed by the mines. Try not to miss any shots, every bullet counts. You can also blow him up from the front with mines if your car is fast enough. You can also win by out-racing him, just grab some nitros and zoom pass him, make sure to have a good lead after you exhaust your nitro or his weapon will blow you up real fast. Gave it a spin, and it definitely seems to be easier than before. Picking up a few ammo crates and a nitro should be sufficient, unless you're unlucky enough to get a repair drop and the Adversary picks it up or something like that.
I'm confused now - the completion percentage is not related to the achievements? I've been stuck on 151% for some time. Wish I read this thread before completing the Marathon again (and winning) in an attempt to get the 42 achievement. Should've figured that at 100pts it's not something that simple. Query: is there a way to choose the difficulty of a course? I am unable to unlock the 'Hard' achievement since the only races available to me are beginner, easy and extreme (not including challenge races).
Great game. Adversary might be a bit easier this time - but I've been able to beat him for a while (from when I got the game, in 1.2 era). Then, it was a case of getting a ton of rockets to just shoot him with (slows him down and does great damage, as well as homing aspect), and nitro to keep up with him (or if lucky, out take him on the last lap.) However, with the weapon overdrive, it's rather easy to beat him now - take rockets. Don't fire any. Get an ammo crate, and use the three rocket overdrive. Continue, smashing any crates you can (bumpers kinda help) to get nitro to keep up or more overdrives to do more damage, and constantly keep shooting at him with your regular gun. After 3 or so overdrives, (which is about as many as can be easily relied on), dump the final 5 rockets in him and he'll either be dead or at a single bar, which the gun will take care of. VERY successful method. Also, rocket overdrive may be the most overpowered weapon in the game. Outside of adversary, its basically a 1 hit KO.
Ok guys all I'm missing is the hard driver achievement... How do I get that one? Seems like I dont ever have that race.. It's always beginner medium or extreme. Wtf?
I tried this game curious about the recent update and the sale price and I'm really surprised with the quality and gameplay. Used to more traditional racers, the iOS version of Death Rally seems well suited for quick races on the go (although I can easily spend 20min...) I just wanted to ask if there's a way to select the tract and race mode or are they always generated randomly?
I think the mines are the most overpowering weapon in the game, especially given that the CPU racers tend to follow a path when you're not banging alongside them. I found that I can place overdrive mines all over the map in 6th place and by the second lap, everyone else is toast. So, to follow up on my own post 154% is tied to the challenges, not the achievements. And, it appears that I'm not the only one who can't access the hard races - I guess they're randomly generated, though it makes not one lick of sense that Beginner and Easy races are randomly generated alongside extreme. Fantastic game, absolute steal at 99c. Can't wait for more updates.

Very cool - made my submission "Powerhouse". Word of warning - the submission form doesn't seem to work with Chrome - when the permission window pops up, there are no Allow/don't allow buttons. Works with Firefox though.
Alternate Arrow Control Scheme Has the Alternate Arrow Control Scheme been implemented yet? I have the latest update, how do I change the control?
Thanks for that. I've just reported that on to Liilak so hopefully they can resolve that issue quickly! They sure have. Simply go to the options menu and tap "Stick Left" to toggle through the different control schemes.

Thanks, i was stupidly waiting for the next update for the alternate control... But now i tried the new control and it is worse, i go round and round in circle I just cannot get to controlling well in this racer, perhaps having a mini map will help? This is especially since we keep changing tracks. I have tried both camera angles, still find it tough to control the vehicle.
