That's exactly what happens to me almost half of the time. Sometimes it crashes mid-game, sometimes it crashes when loading a map, but it rarely crashes on launch. Who would've thought a top-down racer would be so memory-consuming...
I see you players who gave low scores in the Appstore because it didn't have crappy Reckless Racing controls never went back and improved the score when they added it in a matter of weeks. For shame.
Hi, great game! I had one strange bug once, made some screenshots, thought you might be interested. Restarting the game solved the issue, I was playing on an iPad 2.
I'm sorry to hear that. Could you sync your device with iTunes and we try to investigate crash report if it would reveal anything useful.
Many of us plays with 3GS and iPad here - and we haven't had any crashes since we started to make the 1.1 version. Big mystery, but we will do everything we can to sort this out.
Cool, thanks for the update about the update. At least the 49.99 and 4.99 IAPs weren't the only thing they added (stealthily, I might add). New car customization options are always appreciated as well. OK, this is a decent update.
This is awesome, thanks for fixing the achievements! Getting back into this game. Some green paint jobs for the higher-end cars would be nice in the future. How does the weapon thing work? I pick up ammo when I'm full, my car glows briefly, and then...?
The new app icon is pretty ugly. I suppose the tradition to change the icon with every update comes from Minigore. Unfortunately, the original icon was much better IMO.
Hmm, thanks, and interesting. I wonder if there was a bit of conscious weapon re-balancing at work as well with this feature. The strikers' boost shot is (to me?) more subtly improved, whereas, for example, the sniper becomes pretty much instantly lethal if point-blank. It would be more interesting if it wasn't so rare, though, maybe. I'm almost never at full ammo, and trying to hold back at the beginning of a race just in case you pick some up is usually a losing endeavour. And it's such a brief payoff (maybe 3 seconds or one shot). That said, it has reminded me why I used to like the sniper, so mission accomplished?
I have not unlocked all the maps, but wondering if there are any maps with short cuts, hidden paths? Reminds me of the GBA game Racing Gears Advance by Orbital Media.
Excellent, I've been enjoying this game for the last few days. I love the responsiveness of the controls and the upgrade options. Finished the 'career' though so it could do with being a bit harder for my money. Maybe a sliding scale of difficulty that affects how often power-ups are generated? Takes me back to playing Micro Machines <Grandad Off> Looking forward to test-driving the new update later.
The new update changed my saved file from 148% Completion (out of 148%) to 153% Completion (out of 154%). The new Overdrive addition is cool, and I was able to kill an opponent in one shot with missiles. However, it seems like the only thing left for me to unlock is the extra paint jobs Remedy added by "liking" Death Rally on Facebook... Please, PLEASE tell me Remedy did NOT MAKE THE FINAL 1% COMPLETION TIED TO "LIKING" THIS GAME ON FACEBOOK!!! If Remedy in fact did this, then this game might get rage deleted tonight :-(
Never mind. I just got 1,000,000 fame (no IAP used), the God Achievement, and 154% Completion (out of 154%). I was really upset that Remedy might do some stupid mess like link Facebook "likes" to Completion percentage, but it looks like everything is all good
