I wonder if it's meant to be that way.
By the way, does anyone experience crashes with wifi+gamecenter switched on? The game crashes in some seconds after loading the app while in the menu or on the track on my iTouch 4g with wi-fi switched on...

 

Didn't really take not of it but I believe most of the time when my fame drops, it was from boss challenges too.

Not for me, and I play with WiFi + GC almost all the time. So far I think the game has only crashed once for me, if at all.

 

no crashes here either (4.2.2 / 4.3.2 iPad 1 w/o jailbreak) with Wi-Fi + GC on.

I have no problems with the existing controls, but I do have a
problem with not being able to switch to camera #2 for every race...

 

Not bad. With the first content update + player request/additional controls patch delivered, perhaps online multiplayer is not far away

 

We can only hope Multiplayer is their next big feature update!

 

Is the reverse map bug fix related to the camera? Hope so - would be nice to be able to play the reverse maps.

 

You've always been able to play "Reversed" maps with Camera 2, "Rotated" is the one that forces Camera 1 on you, because it's played from rotated camera angle. We are going to work this out so that if you've chosen Cam 2, game doesn't give you Rotated or Mixed (Rotated and Reversed combined) tracks, because they are aimed for people who plays from Cam 1.

So in the meantime, do pick Reverse tracks - but avoid Rotated and Mixed.

Well the arrow controls are just as clumsy as they were in Reckless Racing, but the token bone thrown to those RR fans should go well in bringing up the review stars.

The next update (ice course?) sounds good. Although I'm still rabid for that multiplayer...

 

Ok, now I see. I could have sworn the Reversed ones didn't allow for cam 2, but I guess I was confusing those with Rotated. Out of curiosity, why is it called "Rotated"? Is it because the cam 1 is rotated to a different position+angle from normal cam 1?

Anyway, good to now know that I can play reversed.

I really gotta say, this game is incredibly well done. Way more addictive than I thought it was going to be. About as good as a single-player racing game can get!

 

Question about cars ?

The black car in the game....the one that looks like a black/gold 70's Trans Am...complete with Gold Eagle on the hood...do you plan on making this car available to buy and race ?

 

Yes I love this game it's great will keep playing. Remedy makes awesome games.
