Make sure you complete at least 1 marathon race.

Argh. I had a feeling that was it... 42 laps with no guns should be pretty boring...

Actually check out the stats in the options screen and see if there are more race types you haven't attended yet.

Do you guys have any problems with achievements? There are some I should have collected, but they're not in GC.
I suppose it might be the GC integration - there was one time the game couldn't connect to GC and all the achievements were suddenly there. Once it connected the dissapeared again.

Indeed. Whipping your car around corners just involves whipping the analog stick around. I can't picture doing this well using arrow keys. That sounds as intuitive to me as playing Street Fighter with a keyboard and mouse.

I guess the devs can throw in some extra options just for the heck of it, I'd rather see some more content first.

Then add a slider bar like the one used in Gangstar 2. That would translate very well.

I think they need to balance the vehicles better. After you unlock the last vehicle, there is almost no reason to use any of the previous ones... except for Dervish which has a tiny bit more armor.

Haha, just got this and tried it out...it is so much better than Reckless Racing. RR has the physics, but this one takes the cake for the fun factor and epicness. I just wish there could have been a mix of the two games, but we can't have everything, right? Anyways, controls work fine for me, just take a little getting used to, but they are the only way this game would have ever worked. Could you imagine trying to aim your gun with any of RR's controls? It would have been nearly impossible, for me at least. I am completely blown away. I actually won my first race within 10min of playing, how's that a noob? Well done, great game, can't wait for what's in store next update :D

I respect and accept it just fine. It's just that I don't understand it.
The controls in DR are basically "point where you want your car to go" using the left radial, which is about as simple as can be. I don't mean to sound condescending at all, I apologize if I came across as such.

I wasn't making the generalization that experienced gamers are more likely to do well with these controls, I was merely offering up my own experience with the game.

Reckless Racing was a big disappointment, this one has kept me entertained for hours, and there's still some achievements I am trying to get.

Just would love to know if someone got to the final 2 levels, "God of all Gods" and "The 42". My fame leve is over 3mil and I am still "just" a God. I've seen people ask before, but not an answer.

    Cheers,
    Leo

I was one of the guys complaining about the controls. Turns out they are indeed fine after half an hour or so, especially considering the shooting part. :) What I would like though is an option to move it closer to the edge of the screen as it is a bit uncomfortable as it is.

But the control has grown on me. Yaj. :)

Now all I need is more content. Godly and 100% :D

What's really pissing me off is those morons in the Appstore who are dropping the overall rating by giving this game a bunch of 1-star reviews because the controls aren't the same as in Reckless Racing. Seriously? ONE ****ING STAR because it uses arcade controls for an arcade racer? Appstore reviewers should require a test of minimum competency before they are allowed to post on iTunes.

I picked up this game, and it is easily one of my favorite games. I've played a lot of other racing games, and this one really nails the fun factor IMO. Trying to take out all the bosses, upgrade everything, and earning achievements definitely add to the replay value. I'm fine with the controls. Personally I have no trouble recommending this game.

    Still no reply. :(

The impressions for the game are really encouraging though. I loved the old version, so I'm sure this will satisfy that void nicely.

I got a reply yesterday morning saying there's an issue with international users because they can't gift the games to people outside the US. Instead they need to send codes, but they're pretty much out of codes right now. So they asked in the email for me to tell which country I live in. I live in the US, but unfortunately I haven't received a further response or the game yet. :(

Yeah, I'm in the US too. It really isn't a big deal, I'm just a little surprised.

Not sure if anyone else has this problem but my data has been wiped from the app on multiple occasions. I was at about 90% completion when I booted up the app and it got stuck on a black screen for about 30 seconds. Once it was finally loaded I was back at 0% with the original car and no weapons. Since then I reached 100% completion and had 1.2 mil fame and then I loaded it up again and had the black screen, leading to my data being wiped again.

This is really annoying as it has happened about 5 times now and I've pretty much given up on the game. The game is blast and knowing that there will be great updates makes me sad that I won't have any cars or weapons at that point, despite all the work I've done in it.

Hi Zman, sorry to hear about data wipes - glad you're still enjoying the game. Have you updated your iOS device firmware? We have been able to smash many, many bugs for the first update and for another coming up update we are preparing a system where your progress can be restored from Achievement-data via Gamecenter. Mountainsheep has used this method in Minigore before. I hope these actions will remove this problem all together.
