Dude, when I was scrolling through the appstore I saw that "Death Rally" was on sale. Without a doubt I click on the buy button 1000x
Picked it up this morning. The gameplay is awesome but I'm still trying to figure out how much depth there is to the game.
I know, I know. I have no doubt that it's worth the $2.99 and money is not an issue at all. It's really just that I want to finish (or start) playing my large backlog of games. And I'm also a little stubborn and happened to see the initial sale a day too late. But I'm definitely starting to waver.
It isn't called "Depth Rally" it's called "Death Rally". Very little depth. Very lots death. Also, for a buck, this is one of the best games you can get.
i guess it wasnt a fake sale after all. strange that at 0:00 it didnt came as 0.99 though. when i woke up it was 0.99. instant buy.
I wasn't talking about depth in the sense of a storyline. I was talking about different weapons, cars, upgrades and tracks. A game like Mini Squadron is a good example. There's not much different to do in the game and absolutely no storyline, but trying to get all the planes just caught my interest and was enough to keep my playing. Similarly, Death Rally has really fun gameplay but I'm wondering how long it holds people's attention.
Wow this plays and looks great on the ipad2. Played for several hours with no crashes and really enjoy destroying cars in this game! I'm happy with my 99 cents purchase!
Until you you get everything?...That takes around 7-10 hours depending on how skilled you are. I'd say that's quite a fair amount of playtime. Considering they're consistently bringing updates as well, the gameplay time just grows. When multiplayer comes around...yep.
Yeah, since my last post I've had a chance to play this a lot more and it really is a great game. It's well worth the full price and has more than enough content. Multiplayer would make me feel guilty for only paying $.99.
To me, this is one of the best examples of the power of achievements...repetitive gameplay for sure but getting all the cheevos to pop takes a loooooong time. And its soooooo satisfying when you see one pop. To me this is really one of the first igames to make achievements matter...good job remedy!
