Heh, if that gun thing is still going, I'd like a Jupiter 'cause it reminds me of the Alien Blaster from Fallout. And hot damn do I like that trailer. Can't wait to play the game.
Amazed at the potential this game can have. I won't lie it brought me out of lurker mode. This site has been a tremendous help towards what I purchase. I'd love to beta test if there are any slots available. I've got the freetime for it. If there is still the gun giveaway I'd love The Bronson. Now THAT's a mans gun. Either way much respect for putting the work in. Puzzle/Shooter WIN. *fistpump* - KH
Thanks TC Games for the gift card. Game was pretty well done. I like the multiplayer mode. Good luck on this game.
Multiplayer?.. Anyway, I watched the trailer, and it looks like a legit style of this game. I'd definitely try it out for multiplayer! I would like to have a code for the bronson please.
@Bark bits Absolutely! Your gun code is sent @reec0X Very nice! You're closing in on the final cut scene! @bem69 and @iANiMeX We were glad to give them out @V Kuolema Very Excited to hear you like the trailer! Also, your gun code is sent
I'd love to test if there are still spots open. I aim to kill people with a gun from the future! Fairly certain I had that exact gun as a kid. It sparked when you pulled the trigger...
Your invite is sent, we'd love to have you test it! Your gun code is sent Actual sparks!? That don't make toy's like the used to! Very cool, we'll have to get your giftcard sent out today or tomorrow
Completed the game. (Episode One) SINGLE PLAYER ONLY: Glitches/Errors: The first "video" sequence has subtitles off sync with the voice overs by at least two statements. The second "video" sequence has subtitles off sync with the voice overs for at least the first half. The offer of 3 WPoints for accepting emails for information on other games can be repeated multiple times therefore allowing a player to simple buy the strongest gun in the game immediately without the "grinding". No graphical glitches from what I've seen. No crashes during my entire playthrough. No sound glitches from what I've heard. Quick Review: Death Call is quite an interesting find. A steampunk western shooter/puzzle game with RPG elements (Gaining XP, leveling up, weapon slots for upgrades, etc.) While there are in game purchases for WP (Weapon Points...used to buy candy...I mean...buy...wait for it...WEAPONS!) these are completely unneeded unless you just would like to rush your way to a certain gun. The aiming is quite accurate and of course the weapons have their different strengths and weaknesses. The shoot outs can be very tense in later levels having you hopeful for a well timed shield reload or cursing yourself for reloading at the wrong moment. The enemies have great variety. You'll wonder wether you should continue shooting at a bomb while the clock ticks away or do you take out the rifleman who is battering your health. While the graphics may not be what people demand nowadays I found the 2d style extremely refreshing. To be blunt I had a great time with "Death Call" I plan on playing it again and taking my time to climb up the ranks as I focus on the multiplayer. While my time with the title has been quite short (being that it is only "Episode One"). I'm hopefully there will be more episodes added and frequent updates. Would I purchase this game...? Yes. Personal Opinions: The voice acting for the "Boss" of the First Episode is quite forced (horrible). Maybe it's the fact that I as a hispanic male can see right thru the fake Mexican accent. Guns should have different effects when fired. (A gun named Tesla I would've loved to see some lightning) and hopefully we will see more than the typical pistol, rifle, shotgun. (Although That Witch Hunter is mighty kick ass). I loved what the different ammo types did for the action, please do more. Freezing opponents while trying to quickly reload and still take them down is...pretty awesome. I don't have complaints. I'd love to see everything that this could possibly be. More enemies, enviroments, a deeper story that embraces the player. The puzzles were actually entertaining and had the mother of my child step away from her Sudoku (An impossible task I may add) just to want to play. Trust me I will say when your girlfriend can take a shot at a game and feel victorious for finishing that final puzzle, you may possible have magic on your hands. A BIG Thank You to Toy Chest Games for allowing me to beta test on this early build of what can possibly be an amazing title for the iOS. This was a quick on the fly review so... Don't use it as a mark against me Now I'll be focusing on my multiplayer skills and later on down the line I'll give my review of that. (BRING ON EPISODE 2!) Later Folks, Katamari Head a.k.a. _OMNi_ (Twitter: @_OMNi_)
Just saw this thread today. I would like to beta test for it, Bronson for the gun if it's available. I think that the trailer is a bit too long, anyone else feels the same way?
@Katamari Head Awesome job on the review! We appreciate it @guu_leme, justln Gun Codes and invites are sent
