I actually should be more clear. The 3G (iPhone 2nd Gen) does not appear to support Game Center at all, however from what I am reading iPod Touch 2nd Gens do support Game Center. Technically game center is the only requirement to play the game online, however the game has performance issues on pre-3rd gen devices. I'm not positive on the way we will be limiting devices, as I am not sure if there is an option to essentially only allow people who have a phone or idevice with game center to download the game. If we are unable to disallow downloads for people who don't allow game center, we will have to force the game to only be downloadable by 3rd gen+ devices (I'm not positive on how either of these methods work at the moment). Either way, the point is I don't want players to purchase the game, then find out their device isn't able to play online. Consumer happiness is #1.
Yes I agree with wat ur saying and plus, when the game releases, it might be best to inform ppl tht it should preferably be run on 3rd Gen idevices and above
Did you think they'd stop making games after the ones they have announced? ------------------------- To those saying that 3.rd Gen and + games could run on 2Gs (though of course verry slowly), this isn't the case with all games, for example games that use OpenGLES 2.0 won't run.
In my opinion, CM Games keeps getting better and better. Their portfolio is ambitious and varied. Excited for this game.

Just a reminder: This thread isn't for talking about the beta, or for bragging who did or did not get into the beta. Please keep that discussion out of this thread as things were getting severely off topic. Also keep in mind that it's against the rules to ask to be a beta tester for a game unless the developer is specifically trying to recruit people. That isn't the case here, so don't ask
haha sry its partly my fault cuz i made this thread i agree this beta topic got outta hand! and i dont think Josh (or any developers for tht matter) would let u in a beta cuz u begged...
I'm pretty excited, I've been checking the site daily only for news on the release date of this game and 1-bit ninja
No release date yet...we're hoping to have it ready mid june, possibly late june depending on how everything goes. We just need to make sure the online play is as smooth as possible on launch. Stay tuned...
Yeah we should be in testing really soon. Final things were added I believe last night. Will be running server tests soon.
Hey Josh/invulse, r we allowed to answer questions for deadlock? If ppl even ask questions? (*hint hint nudge nudge*)
The game looks very interesting and promising. I hope you'll give us destructible environments May I ask which technology you use for multiplayer? kind regards momo
