I did read.... But it's not fully confurmed yet, the say " it's in the plan" meaning they are going to trie to put it in but they are not 100% sure
From Madfinger: Meaning all high end iOS devices will have "Tegra 3" effects. That obviously includes the iPad 3; it should also include the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, since both handle water effects without a hitch in Riptide. (BTW, I believe that Marek left the 's' out on "device" by mistake. What that means is full effects and full retina. The question is whether the iPad 3 will handle all the effects at retina resolution, or whether Madfinger will take the Infinity Blade 2 route and do something not-quite retina.
Yah I know that I read it but they say it's in the plan. Im not arguing about that but most of the power of the A5X gose to the retina display. And we have learned from NOVA 3 that all the power when they use full resolution than all the power of the quad-core processers gose to keeping the resiltuion going than they could not use there partical system that is my only fear. That if they use full resiltuion then they will find they can't use the special effects because all the power going to the high resolution.
I meant in chip generations, not iPhone. A4, a5, a5x. Then we get down to chips clicked at like 600 and 533 mhz for 3rd gen and below...whew they would be totally obsolete if they were pushing retina. At least they still support open GL 2.0
I really think this unity engine is a awesome mobile engine that really complements well with the iOS platform. Shadow gun runs great at full res.
That is quite true. Though to be fair, shadowgun contains extremely linear and small levels with little variations in gameplay, enemies, or environments. It's still a good game, though.
Lol "it's on the Internet do it must be true!" Seriously, though, read back a few pages, or the beginning of the thread where madfinger says it.
