I would have gladly paid 10 dollars for dead trigger without IAP's but then again the developer mentioned that it wont affect the game so I decided to buy the game and some IAP's just to support them but like you I'm totally against this policy and sadly its spreading everywhere in the app store with some IAP's costing 100 dollars like smurfs village which my little brother was about to buy, after that incident I disabled IAP's in my iPad

It's a tough situation for the devs for pricing. I would that think people would not likely crack a .99 cent game as apposed to a 7 dollar game. Therefore in the long run the developers would make more money. Even when it comes to IAP's, buying a .99 cent IAP doesn't seem so bad to a cheap gamer.

For me I prefer paying full price but when your a good developer like Madfinger , I will definately support them and buy a few IAP's also. Anyway I hope these guys make a fortune. They deserve it. They put a lot of heart and effort into their games.

No, these types of things happen because the people is so selfish that they cannot buy a 0,79 € game because "it's soooooo expensive I will download it with my jailbroken device instead!!!!!!". Please, someone try to answer this: why can't someone buy a 0,79 € game after buying a ~600 € device? It's normal (NORMAL, not legal or ethical) that PS3, Wii, etc. are pirated (60 € each game...), but come on, 0,79 - 7 € games? WTF!!??

If only people without the rights to download these games in the AppStore download them with their jailbroken devices, why so many companies, like Madfinger, have soooo many problems?

People who steal games steal them because they can. You guys are fooling yourselves if you think pricing makes any difference. Rampant piracy of the Humble Indie Bundle (which could be had for literally one penny) proves that thieves are just thieves.

I've pirated quite a few apps on Android.

Most recently, I got NOVA 3, Mass Effect and Babel Rising all on the free. Ask me why....because those games were 'supposedly' incompatible with my tablet. I got the apks, installed, and everything ran finely. Am I to be blamed here?

And also, there's region restriction. GTA 3 has 4 versions on Google Play, yet none are available for installation in my region.

Just so you know, many people pirate because that's the only way they can get a certain game. Kids pirate because they don't have credit cards. On iTunes, it's not so bad because they have gift cards, but even then those are not available worldwide.

Thats what i'm say practically just a little portion download the games because the cant buy it like me because they are not in they local store heck i even have contact rockstar support to ask why the dont release some game in my store and came out with some to much violance answer lol but them are games like gangsta that are the same as gta with less quality

But yea the big part people downloaded for free is because they think 5$ is to expensive and its sad whem like you said have a device that cost 600$

I am happy with my jailbroken phone. I bought games that I keep such as cod:zombies, mc3, IB. But games like backstab, gangster, and ESP nova 3. I wish It had some kind of demo so I knew what I was gonna pay $7 for.
Nova 3, biggest waste of money. So now I just download the games for free, if I like the game and I play for more than a week, than I actually go and buy it.
I don't pirate shits. To me it's Bascially like a demo. Just like amazing spider man, I thought game would be great but I wasn't sure it worth $7 so just downloaded for free and I am happy to say I didn't waste $7 on that bullcrap.
Played for like 15 mins and just deleted

People who don't buy original games or programs are either poor or simply are used to get these things for free, since I was little I used to play games for free, pirated computer games even the windows was pirated, pirated ps1 games, pirated ps2 games and xbox when the ps3 came out the idea of paying 60 dollars for a game was repulsive I thought it was crazy but I got over it and purchased everything from games to software's so my point is even if someone pays 500-600 dollars in a phone he wont buy any apps for it because he is used to this life style of piracy his whole life and trying to change or adapt wont be easy at least thats what happened to me :D

Some of you who have just admitted to pirating apps probably want to consider editing your posts. It's not allowed on here, without exception.

And it doesn't matter if you're just "trying" the app before you buy it. That's still pirating.

Cant believe people openly admitting to piracy on a forum where developers are active and need to earn a living...
Sod off and go to a pirate games forum :)

    On topic

Home from work now-hurry up and approve it Apple!! Lol

A demo?!??! Lol. Clearly, you don't understand how much of a difference in pirating an app makes to the developer. And you say you "don't pirate shits", well, you do. You got the game for free when you should have just paid the $7. Because of people like you, devs are losing almost 30-40% of the money that they should be making, or possibly, even more than that.

How did we get from a zombie game to app pirating?

Anyway, any more news? Maybe it'll come out today? If not I really, really need to tear myself away from my iPad. Been on this thing all day :p all hyped for dead trigger.

Not saying its a good thing to the devs. But Well like I said, I bought like every single "hardcore games" I am pretty sure it's about worth more than $100 and I only play like 5 of them. It's not like I don't buy any apps, it's called "saving your money"

    Piracy is still theft.
This try before you buy bull is still theft of someone elses intellectual property.
Justify it your own head all you want, but you're still a thief.
And I have have jailbroken devices myself, solely to have sbsettings and have never pirated or stolen or "tried before you buy".
    Sickening.
