It's true I checked the facebook post. Although nothing was said about it not releasing in June, that might be the case.
Okay, the post has been found after a lot of looking around but you have completely taken it out of context in that it is a reply to a comment posted where the guy wanted an idea of the date of release. It says nothing about the game being delayed and it's in the comments of the last screen shot they posted which is titled "get ready". Saying the game is being polished and that they are not responsible for approval is certainly not the same thing as saying the game is delayed and I'm not sure how you read it that way.
I totally agree with Rip 73, untraceable was taking this out of context. It does not say anything about it not being ready for release in June. Madfinger posted lasted week with a new add saying " get ready" a lot of people thought that meant they were going to release it on the weekend but to no avail. So a few people thought Madfinger was playing PR games. Which IMO they weren't , just pumping people up. I would be very surprised if it wasn't released this Thursday !! Here's hoping !!
After going to the Facebook page and reading the Madfinger comments, it's very confusing as to what's going on with the release date. They're several saying they're still polishing the gameplay. So, if it hasn't been submitted to Apple by now, I'd say it probably won't be out Thursday. Be nice to hear something definititive from MF even if it's just saying it's coming, but won't be this week.
I agree if they are still polishing the game it won't be out for another couple weeks. But last week they acted like it would be coming out this week. Man I hate apples approval system it takes too long
Actually I have seen quite a few unstable games get approved like Warm gun for example so to me it's not only slow but ineffective as well
Hopefully Madfinger will give us a concrete update as to when the release will be. In the meantime....Shadowgun is an awesome game that will tide you over until then.
I'm not talking about bugs/performance in games, thats nothing to do with apple.and they dont check for stuff like that. They mainly check for dodgy code/viruses ,stuff like that. Thats one of the reasons the os is stable.
No, apple just wants to make sure that there's no content that they don't approve of (like we can't decide for ourselves) and that it doesn't allow the user to make changes to/acess the OS. And of could it can't be emulators or anything to ascess the file system... This is why I jailbreak freedom from big bother. As for the game being delayed, I doubt it. Madfinger was acting as if the release was imminent...
Yeah im sure thats part of the reason as well. My main reason for jailbreaking is emulators, cant get enough of retro games Cant believe apple let the mame app slip through, i grabbed that sucker before they pulled it from the app store lol
I think the key words in Madfingers comment was " we still have a few days to our credit " which is a reference to being released in June. Therefore, I'm pretty sure it will be out in a few days. They're just putting on the finishing touches.
