The fog color is black at night, white the day. Are you talking about the mist?
Btw, the night is pretty dark and the view distance is even shorter than day.

I dont know if this has been said yet but you guys should make a endless mode in a future update where the zombies dont stop coming and you have infinity ammo. Looking forward to this game.

so there is only coop? is there any versus? If you rly wanted to make money, you should make the zombies playable so it would EXACTLY like L4D. Then mention its exactly like L4D in your description and you make like a bajillion dollars. But thats unoriginal, i mean what kind of dev COPIES other games? <---sarcasm btw

I have a suggestion. Most American horror games are known for their pop out cheap scares. For the sequel it would be nice to leave some rooms or halls without monsters. For example, the scene in which the girl says "this mask is moving" or the picture says "stop looking at me" provides a creepiness (accompanied by the music and loud noises) within the gamer that is more effective than having a zombie jump out of the closet. Know what I mean? Just a suggestion.

Definetly looks promising and graphics are not everything so long as the story line is thought provoking (like sh 2). But the graphics for the sequel look even better than the trailers released for silent hill: shattered memories. And I love how you can investigate items.

Theirs a survival mode planned for minor update. This kind of stuff could be interesting in an other major update, but no in 1.1, as this kind of stuff will required heavy change in the game code. I will make a poll asking all kind of question about features and updates when the first minor update came out.
Cheers and tanks for the input.

    [LEAK]
I know that am leaking a bit the sequel, but il take the risk to get you a bit of info.
Forgotten Memories is not about zombies, i would prefer to call them, monsters, or things. Now, to really understand DeadStrike, you have to play the sequel, Forgotten Memories. Why? i cannot answer this question right now, but you will know a bit more when Dead Strike came out.
All i can tell you is that Forgotten Memories is about psychological fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of darkness, fear of being scared, fear of creepy ambient sounds, fear to move, fear to leave your secured place, psychological fear. You will not have as much weapons as in DeadStrike. We implemented a new kind of gameplay mechanics called Hide and Seek. You can hide in the dark, monsters will not be able to see you, you can hide behind objects. Monsters can open doors and search in a room.
We have a nice streaming thing behind all that, to avoid loading times, so switching from one room to an other is done in real time. Same goes for monsters, they can go from one room into an other, looking for you, in real time. An other interesting thing about this system is the interaction between the aggressor ( the monster ) and the victim ( the character )...
One of the best weapons in this game is your own darkest fear, the darkness itself...

    That's a really good idea.

In the end, it's entirely up to you though.

Not another game promising a multiplayer update, can't you make a complete experience before releasing this? I'd rather wait than get an unfinished game! btw did you hire someone to make the English script?

The multiplayer stuff is already running, but not working 100%, it should be ready by the deadline...
However, you can wait the multiplayer update and pay the high price! :p
    Cheers.

hello my dear friend .. would have the possibility to translate the game into Spanish for those who speak the language you understand well and it would be a pity not nailed it with this great big game in Mexico and believe me that your game will be in high demand. just as the Latin-speaking suggestion will be grateful "I include myself because I am from mexico. thanks:D and looking forward I'm sure that will be very good and reward you deserve. ;)

I cannot tell you that this could be possible, but we are working day and night on the sequel (Forgotten Memories), to complete the game as soon as possible.
    Cheers.
