So after all this time you tell us to save that $1.99 that we have left over only to put the price up?

    Meh.

I won't have enough on my iTunes card now.

    $1.99 US = $2.50 AU
    $4.00 US = $6.00 AU

I wish you would've told us earlier.

Even 4$ still low for a game of this magnitude. Is not a 3 hours game. You will spend quite a lot of time playing this game.

Not yet, but soon, we are working on a Forgotten Memories trailer, the trailer features realtime animated face rigs with lipsync.

Gameloft new stuff is not 4$, is quite high, from 8$ to 10$.

Well, you could always go back to begging for promo codes.

In some respects, I have to agree that raising the price after telling everyone it would be $1.99 is probably not a great idea. That being said, if the game is as good as we are all hoping, $3.99 is still a great bargain.
Two bucks... four bucks...it's still cheaper than lunch at McDonald's...
    :)

Dude, Gameloft games are a lot cheaper than $8 to $10.

Most range from $4 to $6.....

    Exactly what you're asking for.

If it's good, $4 is cheap!

We need to get some more $10-$20 into the appstore to lure the big boys in so they can start porting their stuff over. A premium section for games would be awesome..

Apple have some plans for some kind of premium section.
And by the way, yes the game is very good and 4$ still quite cheap.
We have so much fun playing Dead Strike. :)
Believe me, you will love it!

$4 is cheap but I'm just disappointed that you told us to save $1.99 on our iTunes card (Which I did) and then you tell us you're raising the price to $4.

That's not good customer support and in a way false advertising (You told us atleast 100 times that it's going to be $1.99).

Not sure if I'm going to go out and get another iTunes card just for this game.

Well, then, don't! That's certainly your choice.
But either way, please stop whining about game prices. It's getting old.

I agree, I support the cause of small companies building quality games, and was surprised that the game was going to be $2, and $4 is what I would expect, I do think its false advertising.

Not delivering on the $1.99 intro price??? Devs sound like politicians  I was really hoping to get it at that price, now i'm not sure if I will at all. At least make it $1.99 for one day. Some are saying that $4 isn't that much, but spending 1, 2, $3, etc. on games really does add up!

    You must understand something.
We are not here to make billions like big ultra large crowed studios. We are here to make fun and quality games that people will enjoy for a very small price. Selling the game on a very under-priced (@2$) will not ensure the future of our projects and thus our company which can lead to a bankrupt. I would love to give the game for free, but as you we need to keep alive to ensure our own future. We need to support each other (gamers and developers), if developers don't have any support, there is not games to play. What would you do if there is only Gameloft or Ea mobile for iPhone? Not having any competitors, be sure that they will rise the price a lot more than 10$.
Remember first mobiles games on cellphones? Ranging from 3,7 to even 20$! Developers like us make gamers life easier, as there is more games to chose from, more competition (better cheap prices) and so if we don't exist you will pay higher price for games.
    Hope you understand.
    Regards,

When I first saw 1.99 I thought either it would be really short or they were kidding me. Four dollars sounds a lot more reasonable. Gameloft and EA games start at 7-10 right?
I'm pretty sure this is a company trying to make a profit or just stay above water. Remember you dont have to buy it immediately, so just buy the gift card whenever and buy it whenever.

I'm just just upset that it was going to be offered at $2 and then having the rug pulled from under us. It would have been better if the devs didn't mention the price at all. If you're going to say something, follow through with it, it's a pretty simple concept. You gotta expect some resentment when the price increase was announced. Who likes being lied to?

You're not looking to be super rich, well, I like most others are not rich too. The middle class is dwindling while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer (it's not just a saying, it's the truth). If it was premature to set it at $2, apologize, and let's all move on.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the time and hard work devs take to deliver us high quality games at reasonable prices. Good luck with everything tatoforever. Dead Strike looks to be an awesome game and I'm sure it'll be very successful.
