I don't think so, the release date is already set up for December 23rd. Please, be a bit patient. Cheers,
A quick question. I just noticed that the game was going to be rated 17+ for violence, but will there be anything else in the game that would cause that rating? Even if there are no suggestive themes or any language, they always list everything on 17+ apps, and I just wanted to check to make sure before I was going to buy the game.
Cartoon or Fantasy Violence Frequent/Intense Realistic Violence Frequent/Intense Sexual Content or Nudity None Profanity or Crude Humor Infrequent/Mild Alcohol, Tobacco, or Drug Use or References None Mature/Suggestive Themes Frequent/Intense Simulated Gambling None Horror/Fear Themes Frequent/Intense Prolonged Graphic or Sadistic Realistic Violence None Graphic Sexual Content and Nudity None Cheers,
Hmm... what's the Mature/Suggestive Themes for? Is there actually something or is that just a 17+ default kinda thing?
Ok, I think I know where you're going from the trailers and your description. One last thing though. Does it actually show any of these themes or is it more or less implied?
If the atmosphere and gameplay mechanics of Silent Hill had a baby with the zombies and multiplayer of Left 4 Dead, and then that baby grew up and had a baby with the outbreak story of Resident Evil, I do declare Dead Strike would be that baby. Looks really good.
Tanks, In few words, Dead Strike is a mixed inspiration of major survival horror games, featuring a pretty nice and powerful storyline. On the other side, Forgotten Memories for the iPhone, features PS2 console quality game: Real time in game cinematics, with face rigs and lip-syncs. Lots of puzzles and items to look for, new gameplay mechanics. Richer indoor and outdoors enviroments, a true psychological game based on inner fears. To name a few. Cheers,
May I ask what Forgotten Memories is? I can't find it on the App Store. Is it a sequel you're making for Dead Strike?
questions for forgotten memories 1. will you be able to fight zombies? 2. how many weapons are you developing for the game. 3. can you put a ladder to go up the roof? 4. can you slice them with a katana? 5. how far are you in the developing? 6. can you barricade yourself? 7. can you put in some gameplay clip? like the intro in left 4 dead. and in each part show a little clip?
its not out yet. coming out soon in the mid 2010 around spring. its in alpha development if my resource information is correct. they already made videos of it
You are joking right? (I really hope you aren't expecting the developer to answer every little question your little brain can come up with. That would be a bit much.)
no im just curious. he can say idk if he doesn't know. sheesh. its not tat little. its just slightly little... sniff jk
None of these... xD Forgotten Memories is a pure psychological horror game. Its only linked to Dead Strike on some storyline elements. But the gameplay and game mechanics are quite different. Weapons are different, you can also use stuff in your environment as weapons, you can hide inside and/or behind objects. The game is about 50-60% done. We have few demos running.
We can provide small-little info on Forgotten Memories but we cannot answer every question, the risk of leak is quite high. Cheers,
Are you worried about implied sexual situations or violence? Because this obviously would be a violent game (you'll inflict defamation on rotten corpse who walks and tries to kill you). And if you were worried about sexual situations...well when was the last time you've heard of a series zombie-related game that has it? Why the apprehension? (are you buying for you kid?) One either can stand zombies and hence even more violent themes in games, or one shouldn't go near it. The last sentence reminds me of Australia's idiotic game censors.
