Just curious, but you mentioned that the other game you guys were working on was going to be made for the iPod 3g (32/64 gb). If I got one, it'd be an 8gb since it's the only one I could afford if I got the money for Christmas or if I got it as a gift. Why wouldn't it work as well on one with less memory? Does that also affect the RAM or something?
The ipod 3gen (32g/64g) is also beefed up under the hood. Meaning it is slightly better than the ipod 2ndgen.
As far as I know, Apple has said that the 8GB is still the older model, and only the 32/64GB models has the new specs. I don't know why Amazon's claiming to sell the 8GB that's supposed to be 3rd generation. Just google it (and read the CNET review, amongst others). It might be the 3rd generation, but it still doesn't have the same hardware as the 32GB/64GB. The cake is not real.
Wow, that's stupid... Apple has no mercy on those who want less memory I see... That's just terrible though, I was going to get an 8gb 3g.
iDevice requirements for Forgotten Memories are: Min iDevices requirement: iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G, iPod Touch 3G (8GB). Recommended iDevices requirements: iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch (32/64GB). Having the recommended iDevices will enable: Faster loadings, Bigger textures res, pixel lights, bumps maps, real-time shadows, textures projections, more particles effects at once, to name a few. However, the Forgotten Memories video, that i posted here, is running on an 3G iphone device. Cheers,
