DUDE school > ipod TRUST ME when you grow up you can buy a shtload of ipod games if just DO YOU HOMEWORK
yeah but i want my itouch and good grades pretty hard to do considering all these cool new games coming out everyday! squeal
Hey guys, don't want to ask how old are you ( and you don't need to tell it neither ) but Dead Strike is not a kid game. Is rated +17. Am not telling you that you are a kid by the way. ^^ Cheers.
That's the best advice coming from a dude who's name is composed of the words "da", "shiz", and "wiz" Right, like they really enforce their own forum rules that vehemently (as to deter much). They just can't expect people to respect the rules when they don't respect it enough to enforce it themselves. Not that I like people asking for promo codes, but I've seen way too many people do it without getting banned. It's an effing joke. I like the way you did it though, sneaky
Tip: the trailers take WAY too long to show gameplay footage. 1 1/2 minutes of rambling text is overdoing it.
We are working on the final trailer right now! For this one, we hired a professional audio/video composer! Stay tuned for more! Cheers.
make sure you add some intense scenes of zombies getting real close to the camera and attacking it ferociously. Also add some sad piano music/beats with the character walking thru the rubble of destroyed city =) i just think that would look sooo cool
Did i heard destroyed city? Well actually, some parts of the city (not the entire city btw), some roads and ways are fully destroyed and so closed, The city being in quarantine state! Take a look by yourself : Next to the cliff Cliff at my right side: Watch out your head! Ho's there? Cheers,
New screenshots look good. Reminds me of Silent Hill. I just have one question. Do the missions have objectives, or is each level a 'survive-as-long-as-you-can' type mission?
Your main objective is to bring some virus samples to the Fallen Falls Hospital, and so to exit each part of the city level, but you have side objectives to your main survival. Explore the city!, find stuff, ammunition, items, memos, text messages. By the way, we got pretty inspired by major Survival Horror and zombie shooter games eg: Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Left4Dead.
for some insight into the storyline, i would presume. that and probably a joke or reference here and there. the game looks pretty good. being a survival horror fan, i pretty much have to buy this on launch.
Not to sound rude, but is the scriptwriter for this game a native or fluent English speaker? There is some rather bizarre syntax and word choice in the trailer and the description. This isn't necessarily a problem, but it might detract from the flow and atmosphere of the game if players have to puzzle through for the meaning some dialogue in-game. On the other hand, this looks to be one of the better (if not the best) upcoming games that I've seen, and I can't wait for its release. One other quick question: Will the multiplayer update be a free update for those who buy it for $1.99, or will it require a separate purchase? Oh, and congratulations: This game is what convinced me that I needed to register on TouchArcade. Good job!
so yeah i just took the time to read through this entire thread and it looks like it's dated to come out december 23rd. just in time for christmas...though i would've preferred just in time for thanksgiving! either way, that sequel looks amazing, yes, even on the iphone. it looks like a major step up from dead strike, and is definitely on par with silent hill 1(my personal favorite of the series). i was surprised to read in the thread that the storyline would be deep and a little more complex than anything else we've seen on the iphone, and that pleased me a lot. at first i thought it would be a mindless shooter more like left 4 dead with silent hill visuals, but i'm glad that there's a storyline component to back it all up. bump up the release date imo
