Saw the video and it was pure greatness! Controls looks similar to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I don't think you can stomp those mutilated bastards from the video I've seen but nonetheless, it seems like this will be EA's biggest game of the year, maybe (it's only beginning of 2011 ).
A new trailer for the console version or one for iOS? And where's your source? You've gotten me all excited now.
I hope this video frenzy thing doesn't get TouchGen bad reputation. They're a great site with great staff.
Trying to post the link to the video at youtube, but toucharcade deletes my post and sent me this: "hey, EA asked it not to be posted in the forums. I'd really appreciate if you don't post the link to the video again. Thanks" So I will ofc not post it again, but it's fairly easy to find the video if you search for it on youtube edit:why o why can't they let me post this! they have deleted this post several times now, and i'm not even linking to the video, just sayingit exists!!!!!!!!!
hopefully not, but it's not OK at al that "ImNoSuperMan" continues to delete my post when I'm not breaking any rules. this is what he says: I'll add it in the rules if thats what you want
I'm sure it's fine. According to STP, it was partly EA's fault for giving mixed signals about the video. Thankfully it's not on-rails. From the video (which doesn't exist and cannot be found on youtube *COUGH*), it appears to use a similar control scheme as Battlefield Bad Company 2, with the addition of being able to quickly swipe to turn 180 degrees. I just hope there's an option to turn up the look sensitivity, because I hate having to take my finger off the screen to swipe again and again.
The video was an old build of the game and had lots of bugs, so apparently, EA didn't want the game to be shown in that condition. So they told TouchGen, TA, STP and smaller review sites to take it down.
It's ok, thanks. I saw it on youtube (some other people have uploaded it on youtube now). Yeah I know, but if you in the comments section on STP's hands-on, there's a comment from Andrew Podolsky saying that EA is to blame (I guess they didn't make it clear that no videos were allowed to be taken).
