Nope, the picture is real. It's from a slideshow at EA's presentation. They also announced NFS: Hot pursuit.
Where are these screenshots? Have already seen the screenshots of Dead Space 2, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, Pictureka, wondering whether Screenshots Medal of Honor in 2010 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1? These two games should also come to iPhone / iPod Touch ...
If Gameloft were making this I'd be assured they'd be committed to making a great 3d game work on the iPhone like Nova, but EA might be tempted to make a scaled down game like with Mass Effect Galaxy or Mirror's Edge. Then again, maybe EA Mobile might feel ready to finally take on Gameloft in this arena.
That's the same way I feel about it. It could be good, it could be bad. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I was kind of hoping for an on-rails like Dead Space: Extraction (which was awesome for a Wii game) or Doom: Resurrection.. I am hoping for a quality game. Only good titles that I have own from EA on the idevice are Sims 3, Mirror's Edge, and R-Type. Mass Effect was pretty horrible, and same to a few other titles. I can't wait!
Oh yes! Dead Space for the iPhone, and I'm glad it's a 3rd Person Shooter and not a Rail-Shooter (Not that I don't hate or like them, where's my House of the Dead 2 iPhone port huh SEGA?). I'm noticing alot of big games are coming to the iPhone this year. (Dead Rising, Battlefield Bad Company, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Dead Space).
