Dead Rising (Coming this Holiday) (Screens)

Agreed.Though i know the cmera isnt going to be avaiable.if it's not in the wii version i doubt it'll be on the ipod version.Another issue is zombie number.
360 had about 800 zombies on screen
wii had maybe 100 zombies
and Ipod right now seems like 20 but im hoping for 50-70

 

I'm a big fan of this game on my xbox, just dont like the way it forces me to get back with the daughter each 7am everyday...

 

I've started to love DR2, so this is going to be a sure fire pick up.

 

An iPhone is not nearly as strong as a Wii.

And this was before the iPad and iPhone 4 were around (with the A4 chip and twice the RAM). I've seen much better graphics/performance on my iPhone 4 than I have on a Wii. Some games (Epic Citadel, RAGE etc) look almost as good as 360/PS3 games.

 

Lawled when I saw this Dead Rising looks great though. As stated above, Im worried about the onscreen zombie count. They could use some graphical improvments as well. But none the less I'll be picking this up for sure being a big Dead Rising fan.

 

Compare to this: 12 zombies on screen at once with full scene shadows. It's more like Left 4 Dead.

I do love what you've done with your engines, one of the first to support Open GL 2.0 etc. Can't wait to play that (or Dead Rising for that matter )

Capcom should have just ported the Wii version, the iPhone 3GS is just as powerful, and the iPhone 4 is even more so. But we get a versiin that looks kind of lame, like Resident Evil 4 on the App Store.

There's no need to double post, but it's all good.

So far, they claim that it's only for 3rd Gen and up, but I find that to be a load of BS. I've seen much more complex games running on a 1st Gen iPod with absolutely no problem, and with the time they have to optimize this, it'd be stupid for them not to.

 

I think it'll be running on lower devices than a 3rd gen and up.Just look at xenome.

 

Also when he's walking the clapping of his feet is VERY ANNOYING.either add more zombies so it's less noticeable or make it quieter.
