No clue where to put this, so I guess it can go here :D

I've got a dead pixel on my iPod... it's super small, but is there a way to fix this without shipping it to apple?

Yeah, I have the same problem. The screen cracked at one point and after refitting a new one, I got left with a bloody dead pixel. I don't think there's any way of sorting it without replacing the screen though. Looks like we're out of luck. :(

Yea, I went to that and it's still stuck/dead.

The guy on that site says that if it's black then it's a dead pixel, but mine is white and won't go away.

If it's white then it's just stuck. Keep that 'strobing' webpage going on your iDevice for at least 30 minutes. The screen needs to slightly warm itself before the pixel can be unstuck. Also, it can help if after you have been on said strobing screen for a while and you take a clean cotton cloth and rub near where the stuck pixel is in a circular motion.

It's not an absolute fix, but I've personally had it work for me once with my 1st gen. iPod Touch.

    I hope that helps...

I'm absolutely sure. You could actually leave your screen on 24 hours a day for years before the LCD would degrade and become unusable.

LMAO, I wanted to try on a monitor, but I figured I might die for 5 minutes or so.

Yeah, I am sort of afraid to look straight into it, but it is impressive none the less.

That "Repair iPhone LCD" could give someone a seizure.
