So I think I might have fried my MBP. I was booting into Windows to get some games on Steam, but the keyboard was acting up really bad, so I shut down and booted into OS X, and they keyboard was acting even worse. Following the steps on the Apple support site I tried resetting my SMC, except now my MBP won't boot, charge, or do anything., I'm pretty sure I fried the SMC, but I can't go to Apple until the weekend, so I was wondering if any Mac gurus out there had any suggestions. Thanks.
Like I said above I'm going on the weekend, but I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to revive my MBP before taking it in.
Is it your goal to post random crap on every thread even though you have nothing to contribute? You just posted three times on this thread and did absolutely nothing to contribute, only restating what Danny said in the topic.
Thought I would post the happy ending to this story. I took my MBP to the genius bar on Sunday, the genius reset the SMC, battery, keyboard and it still wouldn't boot. While the genius was filling up the paper work it boot itself up. Keyboard was still crazy so it was sent to CA to get fixed. Today at around 4pm I got a call saying my MBP is fixed and ready to be picked up. I <3 you Apple.
