“Dead Man's Dungeon” News: NEW Youtube Video. Game Approved! The video was crearted by Steve @ Gear Worx Productions Inc. http://www.gearworxprod.com Vectorbox Games, formally Collab Tools is comprised of three developers, Kevin Runion, Ben Hanken, and Matthew Harris. Their latest game "Dead Man's Dungeon" has been submitted to Apple pending approval. Their focus was to get as much out of the iPhone as they could graphics/performance wise by applying every trick they knew to beautify and optimize the scene. DMD uses beautifully rendered lightmaps, occlusion culling, 3d animation, heavy use of particle effects, sound effects and music to bring the scene to life. This FPS has multiple weapons, tons of enemies, high scores, and other surprises along the way. Of course watch out for the electric chair. The controls are very simply and are easy to navigate the level. Its very natural, simply tilt for the camera’s view and use the D-Pad on the bottom left to move. Shooting is tapping the right trigger on the bottom right and changing weapons is the gun icon towards the top right. Your bullets are in purple and health is in blue. Different enemies are harder to kill than others and can hurt you via melee or projectile. Application Description: You are a prison guard at the usually quiet Dead Man's Dungeon. Although tonight, all the dead inmates have returned with a vengeance looking for their lost jewels. Your goal is simple....to dispose of any and every skeleton in the joint. Oh, and don't forget to steal their jewels while you're at it! Features: -Gorgeous 3D graphics -Awesome FPS action -Creepy ambient music -Skeletons with attitude problems -Big guns -Flashy jewels -Online high scores -Probably some other cool stuff too! Upcoming Update: -Bigger guns -Multiplayer Deathmatch! Screenshots: Stay tuned for more information. - Vectorbox Games Team http://www.vectorboxgames.com
If you made the controls work real well then I can see myself shooting those skeletons for a long time Looks fun to play, will be watching for it's release.
It was submitted to the appstore on Sunday. It should hopefully be in the store early next week. I think you'll like the controls. It's a combination of touching/sliding over Analog stick to move and strafe and looking/turning with the accelerometer. It feels quite natural. However, if after playing, you disagree, we're always open to suggestions.
