Did you not read 3 posts above yours?! "We just have a confirmation that the game will only run on 3GS+ or higher, this is due to shader issues in 2G devices. It is possible that we might do an update later to cater to that, but not until this version is released. As for spoken voices in the game, I'll get back to you soon on that one. There are many dialogues in this game as there are many objects that the player can interact with, so it is unlikely to have voices for each and every dialogue." Geez people, get new devices - MOST modern games, with any shaders and lighting, 3d models or open GL effects won't run on 2gen devices.
Hi, sorry for the delay. We are working round the clock to complete the game, polishing and taking care of a few bugs. The deadline has slipped a bit but we will aim to release the game beginning of August. I will post a short gameplay video of the game today. Thank you for your patience.
Hi guys, we have some good news, Firstly, the game is only days away from submission, secondly, we are now supporting ipod touch 2G as well! Although we do recommend you play it on at least a 3GS device or higher to get all the graphics effects in the game, but the game is fully playable on the 2G device. And thirdly, as promised, here is a short demo video of the game. The FPS counter on the left corner is just for a development build, it will not appear in the final game. This looks really cool. Kinda has that Resident Evil vibe, too Really excited for the release of this game.
I second this notion I loved seeing the video on the prior page. How long do you think the campaign runs, time wise? (hopefully more than an hour or 2) - and I'm curious about pricing, this could easily start at the low end 4.99 - more ... also, is it universal?
The game is huge, it will take more than 2 hours to complete the game. You can interact with almost every objects in the game. There are over 50 items you can pick up, and different locations you will visit, and just when you think you've beaten the game, you will find a "twist" in the story. hint: the final stage is actually the biggest stage in the game. As for pricing, we will have a release special, and it will be lower than you think. We want everyone to enjoy the game. There is a particular stage in the game which is my favourite, ...ah but it will spoil it for everyone, so just stay tuned Our beta testers had the most fun in this particular stage, basically it contains a group of hungry zombies and a maze... The game is compatible with ipod touch 2G, iphone 3GS, 4 and higher. It also support Retina Display. The game is not universal is not tested on iPad.
This is a bummer - Any hopes there will be an update in the future adding universal capabilities? Or a separate iPad app? I was so looking forward to this game too Zombies + Resident Evil (older titles) are my all time favorite I'd love to see this arrive on the iPad
Sorry for the late response, were not ruling out the possibility to have a separate iPad version later this year.
Frankly, I'm always skeptical towards the quality of horror games. Probably so because most "next-gen survival horror" games are nothing more but action titles with a lot of gore & monsters. But, this actually looks good. Not great like my all time favourites: Silent Hill 2 & Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Dead Escape reminds me of earlier Resident Evil titles and Silent Hill beacuse game is essentialy an adventure game with horror setting (which is a good thing). I wish you best of luck! This might just be the right survival horror game on AppStore I've been looking for.
so, there's not combat what so ever in this game? there's nothing wrong with some extreme survival combat.
