However Tato calls the release to be within the year, i dont buy it. It's been a while since he announced the demo, which he claimed they felshed out much to become it's own episode, and that took a while, that it still isnt even out. If it took them this long to finish a small episode, how long do you think to complete a full game of his claim? He stated so many times that they are on finishing touches or bug fixing or whatever, and that is all just for the small episode alone. So im just trying to be realistic, that if it comes out, it probably wouldnt be this year. Crossing fingers that it would, but it's not something i'd hawk on. Dead Effect on the other hand, didnt take that long and the release date was on the dot, had made an instant positive first impression, and already proved to me this is worth at least 4.5-stars from the first 5 stages i've completed so far.
You're starting to sound like the guy that was trolling that thread saying its vapourware. Anyway, note the title of this thread is Dead Effect. Not Forgotten Memories. Take it to the appropriate thread. A cursory last line doesn't change the main subject and off topic nature of a post or the discussion.
Ohhhhhh that's dumb, why isn't it just B)? Like c'mon. And a decent amount of weapons, there's a pistol, a revolver, a full auto sub machine gun thing, 3 shotguns (pump action, semi auto, and a double barrel), and 3 assault rifles. All have 5 upgrades for 4 trees, which are Damage Magazine size Reload speed Accuracy The weapons system is much more robust than IW if that's what you're wondering
Not meant to be insulting at all. Sorry if that's how it appears. I just noticed a certain pattern of doubt (maybe disillusionment?) and a bit of negativity in some of your posts of late. Not meant to be an insult at all. I'd hope that is something I don't do (or at least think i don't but that could be self delusion also). You just seem a lot more pessimistic of late. Bit of app fatigue maybe because the whole thing does get a bit tiring at stages. As to off/on topic, you know me, I do tend to have low tolerance of off topic stuff (and, yes, I get the irony in relation to this particular post). To be very clear though, no, definitely not intending to insult. With last post or this one (just in case). I could well be having some app fatigue myself (primarily in the feedback area).
The game has good graphics, but there are problems. Even point blank, with the barrel of my assault rifle in a zombie's face, I still miss. Hit detection is terrible. The grammar is awful.
Anybody experience the player move back slightly everytime you make contact with the on-screen D-pad? I notice this all the time!
Mixed feelings about the game so far. It's decent, but not great. Graphics and no checkpoints don't impress. Kinda a cross between Dead Space and Half Life.
If only there was a mediocre Unity shooter comprised only of 5 minute play sessions and pretty visuals... Oh wait!
Thread seems to be pretty quiet already. Are people still enjoying it as much as the initial impressions? I'm stuck trying to get through the "chess" battles in The Gods: Rebellion and am considering possibly deleting it to make room for this. (Wish The Gods had iCloud, but it doesn't). So are people still pretty happy with the game? Worth sacrificing The Gods?
HELLO TouchArcade and gamers, Thank you guys for your support, we appreciate it very much and we will do everything we can to match your expectations by future updates. Our aim is to absolutely satisfy everybody who bought our game on the highest possible level. At the moment we are focusing on following issues: - fixing bugs and problems reported by users, correction of leaderboards statistics for the game mode survive, where the sequence is completely reversed - optimalization for older devices and implementation technologies iCloud - improvement of armory menu - improvements of effects of exploding heads and maybe spread blood effects too You can also expect new content, which should prolongue your fun in the form of new levels for survive mode, new unique weapons and brand new game mode, in the future. See You Soon All.
Haha, some of you all don't realize that I an not really a fanboy of Dead Trigger. You are right about DT, I too think it is dull after 10 minutes without a story. But it is no tech demo, and is good fun for that 10 minutes. This game is kinda the exact opposite of DT, a story yeah, but not graphically impressive as DT, or as action packed. Of course it is not made that way, and I realize that, this has a decent story. Maybe I was expecting more, but after having played Deadspace and Half Life in the past, this one brings mixed feelings to me. But for the price and overall gameplay, it is decent, but nothing is great in my book. The graphics are kinda more on the mediocre side, the lack of checkpoints, the weird blood and lack of graphic effects, lack of action, etc, makes it so so for me. You guys mention Dead Trigger, but that is kinda a joke, cause it has no story, this one is exact opposite. What I like is Call of Duty Strike Team, has a cool story, awesome graphics, and pretty frantic action all the time. Nova or MC too are pretty cool too. Anyway, this game is decent, just doesn't wow me, but I shall play some more to see how it goes.
