Me too , back in the old days when titles like kings quest and alone in the dark and countless console and arcade games had a huge single player component, but no MP. I'm the type of person that will play a game like order and chaos as a single player game. Back in the old days it was about getting lost in the experience.

Funny, I guess you'd fit in with the way I approach games with my 13-year old. Despite his begging to play Call of Duty and the like, I've been trying to hold him off from games that are too realistic. So Halo with green and blue alien blood is okay. But people getting decapitated in Dead Space is not.

For me, what's a zombie game with without red blood splattering all over the place? Maybe there could even be rainbows like one of the Battle Bear games?

Sadly, I'm an old man at 44 so I started having kids relatively late.

This game is much better than it has a right to be. It is cheesy, amateur, trite, and stale... And yet it is better than most FPS games out for iOS. I would rather play this than Nova 3 or MC4. The controls are tight, perfectly designed even though they look daunting the first time you poke into the options, and the game is just FUN. If you are going to be bothered by voice acting so bad that you wonder if it is deliberately that cringe worthy, you will probably not like this game. It doesn't try to break any new ground, it is more of an homage to the genre done right.

Oh, and the blood? I love it, I wish it splashed around to even more ridiculous levels. "Come play with us, Danny..."
