Devs, Will this run on the ancient iPod touch 4G? I know the device isn't supported but I will probably still buy this if it runs at an average FPS.
You're not the only one! Luckily I made a good amount of money over the summer so I can fall back on it when I need a giftcard. Picking up a $15 one tomorrow for this and IB3
I am very excited for this game, in fact, I hope I can buy it. The gameplay looks amazing but gamers who only have so much money to get a new iDevice can't play it. Whatever happened to it being all about the gameplay and not the graphics? If this isn't supported for iPod 4th gen, Bulkypix will lose lots of money.
Haven't you heard? Don't you know about the IB3? Well let me tell you about the IB3! I-I-I-I-IB3, IB3, IB3, I-IB3s the word! I'm embarrassed for myself.
What I mean is everybody is talking about getting IB3 but they haven't announced a date for release yet, unless I'm missing something?
Is anyone else getting little hiccups on headshot...I could just be tripping and it might be the recoil. Playing on mini
Dat boss in the D-Tox Center (mission 3) Loving this game to bits man. What happened in the boss fight: Spoiler The boss pounced really fast covering a huge distance, and i was caught off guard, he knelt on my fallen body, and there was a "follow-swipe" sequence to avoid catching his huge fists on your face, after that the run-n-gun sequence commenced til i dropped him with 5 full clips to the face. Great variety to the zombies. Boss zombies, huge soldier zombies, the crawlies, those that pounce, those that just slash at you, those that walk, and those that have the will to run. The level design is also great. The amount of exploration needed, environmental hazards, switches and elevators that take you to levels high, low and inbetween, the locker mini-game, the well-hidden tablets, the orbs you need to shoot to break/gather, the ammo and money pickups. This game can get pretty atmospheric at some key spots, the difficulty is a good balance of easy and hard (died twice in the d-tox center coz of the damned toxic gas, which i didnt realize that it was draining my HP til after my second death. LOL), pretty good visuals, blood splatters (yay for having them! nay for the splat on your face which looks like random red goo ), good conversations between you and the other guy on the comms, the automated radio messages, the zombie grunts and moans. The only negative i found in the game is the upgrade/equipment screen which lacks the polich that the core game offers. Doesnt break the game at all, but it can be greatly improved still. Highly recommended. The quality of Dead Effect made an easy choice to delete that other zombie shooter from last week.
Finally a non-arena zombie shooter and no IAP. And here I thought we'd be stuck with crappy way-overrated zombie shooters like Dead Trigger. Insta-buy, thanks Bulkypix
