Bows can be "charged" by holding down the shoot button, which then enables an aimed shot which i feel deals more damage. I could usually one-shot the smaller regular Zs with it, then i go apeshit with the slowdown ability and my katana to finish it at a personal level.
I have an iPad Air and have been running the extreme setting and haven't seen any lag or slow down yet. I'm only about three missions in and I've played some of the random missions. Seems like it runs really well on extreme so far though. I was pleasantly surprised.
Sprint is turning out to be useless for me. It's passive, so as long as you move forward, it will proc. The downside? IT DRAINS STAMINA. As a Katana user this is pretty useless coz you'd want to dash in with sprint then deal damage, but without stamina Katana deals less damage. I hope im wrong in this observation, but right now im not sure if i should waste 50 crystals to respec skills coz Sprint made my build less effective. More harm than help for melee users.
I just meet the Cannibals and those little fuc.... goblins are hard to kill - I hate them, they are pretty fast and with all those jumping around its fun. Any idea how many story missions game have? I am right now on lvl5.
Ye, seems like Bloom is the most demanding. I had to turn it off completely. Running it on an Air 2 but it definitely slows down (this game doesnt skip frames but instead just runs in slow motion, which wouldnt work in multiplayer btw) as soon as there are many enemies on the screen. Too bad though cuz Bloom is used very well in this game. Haha, ikr? I hate those little fckers, too! Damn.
Yeah those guys are annoying. They also jump around over walls and even platforms, which makes it more annoying for melee-main users.
Aww.. So is there an option to buy a katana with the girl character? Btw i like her voice and comments most of all. Also, what 5 or 10 euro purchase would be the best? I want to give money to the devs for this game, because it's Free done right
I personally bought only the $5 crystals so far. And i dumped the first fraction into the XP Up passive skill. Makes it even more premium IMO. Then, once you reach the fifth mission (iirc), the shop will sell for a few crystals a headgear that adds +loot drop% which is awesome for farming. Im still unsure where to dump the rest of the crystals, and im planning to buy something else later on (this game deserves my money), but to be honest i found this game to be very balanced, that im scared i may break the game balance once i decide to buy something with all the purchase.
Yup. Never seen an ad since the beginning since i bought the $5 IAP as soon as i found the shop, just after i completed the first mission i think.
DE has pretty flexible video settings that should smooth out gameplay in exchange for some high quality particles and bloom.
Was playing in hard mode and was enjoying everything so far, and then this behemoth called something-The-Prime easily chopped me down after i got him down to half health. Sheesh. Seems i have to face him in normal mode til i get stronger gear. Fun fuuuuuuuun! Definitely belongs to my GOTY list, spot secured.
How much %XP does it give? I guess just unlocking it doesnt change anything cuz it says 100% but I cant see how much it will give fully maxed out. It unlocks on Lv10 and I'm at Lv5 atm so not sure if it's worth it to put 50 crystals on it to unlock it earlier. Same question for Loot gain %. How much fully maxed out?
The skill at max upgrade gives 120% XP. Sampler's Helmet (sold at shops for some crystals eventually. Forgot, but about 35 crystals i think) gives +30% loot chance on top of other juicy stats on this Mythical item.
I am blown away by how good this game is, and it's FREE! Maybe I am bias because Mass Effect is my fav game series, but I am loving Dead Effect 2! This is the first Mobile FPS I have actually wanted to finish.
